Someone upthread said they want to see a "fall of the Federation" arc. That's just a rehash of Gene Roddenberry's Andromeda starring Kevin Sorbo. If the writers start mining other Roddenberry shows from the 90s for ideas it means they are uncreative hacks.

i noticed that with the hole in the saucer section of the Enterprise looks like an updated NX-01. just thought that was interesting.

Makes sense. The NX-01 update certainly looks like a result of some sort of horrific disaster. I'm really glad it never made it into canon.

This is probably why they've said it will follow season three of Discovery.

I have enjoyed that Yeoh gets the same "special guest star" billing for playing the camp Georgiou that Jonathan Harris got for playing the camp Dr. Smith on Lost in Space.
Or Woopie Golderg had for playing the camp TNG Bartender...

Or that Dianna Muldar had for playing the female version of Dr. leonard "Bones" McCoy. ;)

Finally a Klingon that looks Klingon

The gold and black combo invokes the TOS Klingon uniform. Nice.:techman:

Enterprise looked great and who knew photon torpedoes were so easily contained. Those matter-anti matter gamma rays aren’t what they’re cracked up to be.
Hey, if they can contain voluminous/deadly warp reactor anti-matter radiation behind an inch of clear plexi-glass... (See "Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan")... ;)

Regarding the 7th signal, Burnham created that one so Spock and others know Discovery arrived in their destination safely. But if Discovery is now 900+ years into future, how is it that the Enterprise crew can see the signal? Is the signal visible in all time frames, or travels back in time? Or did Burnham come back to 23rd century just to send the signal and then went back?
MU Phillipa Georgiou says: "Hi...What, you need a new Commander for Section 31?! I'm game...BTW do you scream?" ;)

I wonder whatever happened to the person on Vulcan who was supposed to be taking command of Disco at the end of the first season....
He got assigned Command of the U.S.S. Intrepid instead...:devil:;)

They didn’t even follow up on what caused the Enterprise to shut down at the start of the season. You’d think they would want to know so it doesn’t happen again.
No, they covered that when Number One came onto the Discovery to talk to Pike. It was the $#@! Holographic Comms system that Pike had 100% removed. ;)
