I hate ... those bright red nacelle caps.
They don't look like windows. Why is space orange?Three windows in the Conference Room

Discovery has been doing that all season. They don't look like windows. Why is space orange?
Oh, and I love the Burke chairs.
Nah, the Kelvin ships fixed those issues.

Whilst I have some quibbles about the design, it is easily the best looking ship in the show. Retro elements make it much more appealing that the overly stylised angular sleekness of the rest of the fleet. Also, saying things like 'outdated shapes' is just blatantly ludicrous.Even now after a full season, I think I'm in the minority that doesn't like the DSC Enterprise. It's just a bizarre Frankenstein of NX-01, TOS, and Refit. All crammed together when they really don't go well together.
I understand the need to modernize the design, and that's the problem. They didn't modernize it enough. It still has some seriously outdated shapes and design elements that look ridiculous next to DSC's other ships.
I like the bridge, though. Except, again, the chairs which look laughably out of place on such a modernized design.

I took the "200 ships" comment to mean all of Starfleet, not their shuttles and fighters.

Even in 1967 that made no sense. All those cool bots, why did Ben Finney have to go climb in an ion pod?
Even in 1967 that made no sense.
I really don't know how to feel about that.
I've always had the opinion Star Trek was severely lacking in robots. Which was obviously originally a budget thing.
But justrandomly throwing them in there, without any further explanation didn't really work for me either. Weird.
They certainly don't match the production design of most of the rest of DSC.I think the Discovery and Enterprise robots look absolutely ridiculous, but hey...that's just me.
