It really doesn't matter when it will be aired... as long as the story sound, INTELLIGENT AND LOGICAL. not some drunk fantasy with NO CONTINUITY whatsoever as CBS, Bad Toys, so called Producer/writers shown us over and over again (licensing, merchanising profit is KEY, . Quality so-so).

I hate the way Burnham and the doctor hold their communicators sideways when using them. Sort of reminds me of the "gangsta" movies where they hold the guns sideways when shooting. Sorry, it doesn't make anyone look cooler.
It’s how the kids hold their iPhones these days. Something about the mic placement. It’s all they know.

Except for Mary Wiseman. But I think she’s a Trekkie.

You not only brought in Spock this season, but also Anson Mount, who garnered a lot of critical praise and even a fan petition to get a Pike spin-off. Is there a chance of that happening?

Kurtzman ... "The fans have been heard. Anything is possible in the world of Trek. I would love to bring back that crew more than anything. It was a huge risk for us. One of the most gratifying things is to see how deeply the fans have embraced Pike, Spock, Number One, and the Enterprise. The idea of getting to tell more stories with them would be a delight for all of us."

MAKE IT HAPPEN, KURTZMAN!

They're jumping so far beyond any previously seen time period that it's really kind of arbitrary.

I mean, there will be as much time pass from Braxton's time to where they'll be as there is from now 'till the TNG era.

So here's how They are going forward with Section-31...

You spent season two building up Section 31 in the Discovery universe, and the finale ends with Ash Tyler (Shazad Latif) being made Commander of the crumbling organization. What do fans have to look forward to with that story?

Kurtzman ... "If you're a fan of Deep Space Nine, you've probably spent the past two years saying, "What the hell are they doing with Section 31? That's nothing like the Section 31 we know." That's exactly right. In Deep Space Nine, they did not have badges or ships. They're an underground organization. What you see on Discovery and our upcoming show with Michelle Yeoh is how Section 31 became that organization and why it was so underground by the time Deep Space Nine comes around."

Speaking of Section 31, Control seems to be neutralized in the finale, but Discovery is technically taking it into the future with them. Is there a chance it could resurrect in season three?

Kurtzman ... "All I can tell you is that Control is officially neutralized, but there will be much bigger problems when they get to the other side of that wormhole."

Hints at Season-3.

It's now officially canon that rocks fall from the ceiling on 23rd century starships during battle as well.

The Enterprise phaser beams are perfect, just like the rest of her.

D7s with green disrupters firing from the pylons

The Red Angel suit is awesome

Loved the way the tied in the signals to the overall plot

Leland Control, eat shit.

The writers still don't seem to understand a ticking clock. Everyone just has casual conversations.
Welcome to Hollywood writing.

So, what's happened on Discovery the last two years?

Nothing. We're not going to talk about it. Ever.

Oh, OK. Where's Discovery right now?

Lost in Space.
Here is the official Starfleet report on what happened to the Discovery

More secondary crew stories next season...

Your second season had an episode focusing on Lieutenant Commander Airiam (Hannah Cheesman), who to that point had been a tertiary cast member. Are you planning to pen more episodes dedicated to other members of the bridge crew?

Kurtzman ... "Absolutely. We've really just scratched the surface. Our bridge crew is so capable. Every single person is so wonderful and really rose to the occasion this year. What we discovered is we and the fans delight in stories being told about them. We're going to be using all of them much, much more. Especially because this crew has forfeited their lives for each other. They've jumped 950 years into the future for each other. If we didn't service them, we'd be doing something very wrong."

Interesting quote

Bad Robot has nothing to do with this.
