6 or 7. Depending on my mood.

Battle stuff looked expensive, Enterprise earns her stripes. Disappointed over the back half of the season as the show seemed to be more about Pike and Spock than the Discovery characters. This last episode almost seemed like "These are the Voyages"-type Valentine all over. Should've been a bit higher casualty rate than just Cornwell.

I just don't buy the "don't ever say anything" about what happened as some kind of Prime timeline band-aid.

The signals had been instrumental at bringing Discovery to that point. Each signal was pivotal. One signal led them to rescue the engineer lady who would help create the red angle suit. One signal would lead them to Saru's planet allowing his sister to be able to join the fight. Another signal brought Pike to Borath to find the time crystal. etc... And Michael realized that it was a closed loop. She had to go back in time and create the signals in order to fulfill what from their perspective had already happen.

I do find it interesting that the writers figured out a way to canonize why future Star Trek series never mention Discovery or Michael. I guess they figured it was a plot hole that needed to be resolved.

Ok, that does make sense. It was an interesting way to write that story. I still stand by my 7 score though.

And if They hadn't finished off the ENTERPRISE's story folks would be pizzin & moanin' about that.

At least this way, we have all of Season-3 to discover what happened to the DISCOVERY.

First time I’ve ever posted before an episode is finished. Could be the 700ml of wine I’ve just had with dinner. Already gave it the first 10 of any DSC episode at the 24:50 mark of my PVRed copy of the episode.

BEST. TREK. EVAH.

(pending a sober assessment on rewatch). ;)

I'm sorry but let them. Discovery needs it's own identity and they could have given us a preview of that as the final shot of the season.

After they showed us those repair robots, you’d think one of those could have pulled the switch instead of poor, genocidal Admjral Cornwell. But people on this show end up doing whatever the plot wants, so I guess it’s par for the course.

I predict no timeline reset and no Borg.

OK, I nailed that one.

Really liked the episode.

The space battles stuff a little too chaotic for me.

Good explanations for each of the signals, but I guess we won't find out how all the 7 signals appeared at once initially.

It took them forever to get Stamets into sickbay.

We can put the "Cornwell is Lehte" theory to bed. Wasn't that interesting anyway.

I expected the Klingons to show up for help but not the Kelpians.

As I predicted earlier the name of the Enterprise first officer is "Number One".

Georgiou stayed on Discovery. So my prediction that she may end up the new Captain is still alive.

Seems like Section 31 is going to go underground. But is Tyler now the leader?

Loved the Discovey/TOS end credit music.

The ending scenes sure looked liked a commercial for a Pike Enterprise series.
