Have they said for sure if all of Rebels will be up on Disney+? I've still never seen the pilot, and I missed the last half of Season 3 and all of Season 4.
They haven't but it sounds likely? I mean, they will have all of the actual films (except TLJ and Solo) as well as The Mando on day 1. I'm more interested in Resistance, which I haven't seen much of. But having all of Rebels someplace I can tell people to go watch it would be nice too. (Will they have Agent Carter? That's the question.)
Hey guys....he's at it again! (Happy birthday to Dave, BTW!) For context, this line is actually spoken by Galadriel as she bids the fellowship goodnight, the night before they are to set off down the Anduin river. Of possible significance is that at this point in the story, they'd yet to decide whether to go east to Mordor or west to Minas Tirith. The former being the more obviously perilous, while the latter being seemingly the safe path, but with deeper, less apparent forebodings of the dark influence of the ring on the hearts of men in general and Boromir in particular. Perhaps I'm reading into it too much, but it sounds like a reflection on Ahsoka's decision to leave the Jedi and take the more materially perilous path alone (as Frodo ultimately chose to do), instead of staying with the Jedi (the "western shore") which seemed like the safer option, but the more spiritually treacherous and corrupt. ...or it's just Dave's way of saying "stop theorising, I've already written what's going to go down!"
Possible Rebels related sighting in the Last Skywalker teaser trailer... Spoiler: The Last Skywalker Some people claim to have spotted The Ghost among all the ships lining up to take on the First Order. Once I knew where to look, I spotted the ship that is believed to be the Ghost immediately. With Dave Fillioni's involvement, I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest. We know they already have a digital model for the ship from Rogue One. So, if that is The Ghost, what do you suppose this means? Has Hera come out of retirement along with the likes of Wedge Antilles? Or is the ship being piloted by Hera and Kanan's son? Here is a link the screen cap that points out the supposed Ghost with the fleet. I got to say, it looks close. Especially when you consider that 30-plus years have passed. https://www.ign.com/articles/2019/10/21/ghost-rise-of-skywalker-trailer-star-wars-rebels-ship-hera
Spoiler There are also a couple Pelta-Class ships. While they showed up first Clone Wars, one was used as the Rebel flag ship, Phoenix Home in season 2, it was destroyed by Vader
I just had a thought... Spoiler: Rise of Skywalker With the appearance of the Ghost and an unnamed character played by Dominic Monaghan, could Jacen Syndulla be making an appearance in TRoS? We still don’t know his character’s name. The only issue is: Monaghan is not sporting green hair.
Spoiler: Rise of Skywalker Trailer Well it's definitely a VCX-100 and given that 1) every other ship type in that fleet has at least one double up aside from this ship and the Falcon, and 2) it's very prominent in the shot, right next to the Falcon herself leads me to think it probably is the Ghost. As for who's piloting? Could be Jacen, could be Hera. Either way I doubt we'll get a direct reference beyond it just being part of the scenery like in Rogue One. At most we might hear Vanessa Marshall's voice over the comms; "Phoenix Leader standing by..." or some-such. Having Jacen show up in person seems unlikely since how do you explain to the general audience the sudden appearance of another force user that most haven't even heard of, and have it not be clunky or random?
One wonders if Jacen is force sensitive to the point he could be trained. Or if it's just enough to make him as good a pilot as his Mom. The secondary question there is, what about Ezra and Thrawn. Which brings up the last question on a survivor of the Clone Wars, Ahsoka.
I highly doubt we'll get more than a Ghost cameo (maybe Chopper again?) ...anything more significant than that will be saved for another time.
Sabine's epilogue seems to imply it. Whether he was actually trained though is an open question. I mean he'd be about 6 or 7 years older than Ben, and we're given to believe that Luke didn't open the temple to students until fairly late on, which would probably make Jacen at least in his early teens. Plus just because someone has the potential to be trained doesn't mean they have to be. I mean Leia had at least as much potential as Luke and without training, the closest she got in the OT was a few moments of pure intuition.
Ahsoka Tano in the Rise of Skywalker? https://www.starwarsnewsnet.com/201...n-star-wars-the-rise-of-skywalker.html/?amp=1
Like you said in the other thread, if it were anything more than a blink and you'll miss it thing, the master of the mystery box would have never said anything.
Well, Abrams aid "watch" closely rather than "listen" and Anakin voice actor Matt Lanter just made a live action appearance in The Mandalorian, although obviously not as Anakin. So, while I won't expect to see Akosha, I won't be surprised either.
