Picard is revealed to be Shinzon from the future, extracted at the moment of his death by the 29th century Section 31 and the secretly rehabilitated Captain Braxton. His mission is to get his twin married to Doctor Crusher in order to fix the timeline, because after Picard's time incursion in All Good Things they never married, and this resulted in the loss of the Spherebuilders', the Temporal Cold War and the war against the Red Angel, because their great granddaughter Louise-Estelle Picard was instrumental in winning all three of them.

After installing Federation-friendly puppets in the governments of Talos IV and the homeworld of Species 8472, Section 31 have taken their simulation technology, and built a giant holodeck of the whole galaxy. The entire Picard series is revealed to be taking place on that holodeck, where Shinzon/Picard is running different scenarios for the timeline, and is causing more catastrophic timelines with each season.

He finally goes rogue and decides to run the experiments on the real timeline. He can't really travel back in time, because he's – like Moriarty – stuck on the holodeck, and incompatible with pre-26 century holoemitters, so he has to run everything from the holodeck and only communicate through time. That's when he is revealed to be Future Guy.

A show where it seems when Kirk died in "Generations" his soul got trapped inside Picard's since he was nearby. Kirk has been trapped inside for years in a kind of "Being John Malkovich" type of Hell only now after literal decades he has managed to take control of Picard's body. William Shatner will play Kirk pretending to Picard only he will then be recruited for a "Quantum Leap" type of time travel experiment where he will travel in time and leap into young Kirk. So Shatner will be playing Kirk pretending Picard who has to pretend he is young Kirk to TOS characters but Picard to a hologram partner who is played by Scott Bakula as a holographic version of Captain Archer.

@Jayson1, Wouldn't that be Chris Pine playing Old Kirk pretending to be Picard pretending to be Young Captain Kirk? Or will Chris Pine just be there for the mirror shots? And if so, wouldn't we see Picard rather than Shatner/Kirk, since from a physical perspective it's Picard who's leaping and Kirk has no physical body? Is Shatner just doing the voice acting for the internal monologue? And what character is Dean Stockwell playing?

What do you mean I'm taking this to seriously?

Well "Generations" Kirk was old so we will still see old Shatner as Kirk but a soul doesn't age so when Kirk looks in a mirror he will see Pine Kirk who we will pretend is Prime Kirk and even though he is in Picard's body , when he leaps into young Kirk played by Pine Kirk playing prime Kirk he will see old Kirk in the mirror so as not to confuse people.

Except for when the hologram shows up Stewart will be playing Shatner Kirk pretending to be Picard pretending to be young Prime Kirk so if he looks at mirror we will once again see Pine Kirk seeing Stewart in the mirror since the hologram won't be cued into all of this and only he/she will see is Picard because that is who he/she thinks he/she is talking to. I should also note that since Kirk will be in Picard's body he will sometimes have access to Picard's memories and we will see flashbacks to young Picard before TNG who will be played by Shatner who sometimes switches to James McAvoy randomly through the flashback scenes.

Picard gets recruited into the temporal cold war, and goes back in time, green screened into previous episodes of all seven Star Treks (Yes, including TAS) in the style of Trials and Tribble-ations. In every episode he has to stop somebody from ruining the timeline.

In the season finale, Trials, Tribble-ations and Zombies, he goes into the Trouble with Tribbles episode, where he has to stop remotely controlled corpses from stopping Sisko from stopping Kirk from being blown up.

He may not be the Picard you remember...

He's had significant cosmetic surgery and is actually being played by a twenty year old blonde bombshell type with romulan makeup. Sir Patrick provides the voice only in dub.

Picard's sidekick will be a sleazy, married forty-something man who is always trying to get him into bed.

They work as life-guards on Risa.

I don't know how many drowning people you'll save when they all think you're a Romulan spy with delusions of being a geriatric Starfleet captain.

So, I guess that means you win!

Ah, it's all about the running, not the saving of tourists.

Also, did I forget to mention Picard still has the Argo from the Enterprise-E, and Data's personality has now been uploaded into it... :D

He should use Data's head as a hood ornament.

I always thought there should have been a "Data's Severed Head" toy (from the episode "Time's Arrow"), but alas, it was not meant to be.

A season long follow-up to The Masterpiece Society.

Picard is accompanied on the journey with Lwaxana Troi, Alexander, Neelix, Leeta, Zek and Ishka, all in a mud bath.

    New dumb idea:

A revival of the 1980's[/b] "Cover Up"[/b] series that last a full season. It'll be called: "Cover Up: Picard". The re-recorded "I need a Hero" theme song will be used again and it''' show Action-Hero Picard in action from various scenes of the series that nobody asked for. Continuing the annoying Action-Hero Picard of the film which so many despise.

My guess is someone showed him Star Trek: Renegades, and he said, "Sure, I'll do that. Make it so."

Not sure, however, if he was sober at the time.

Picard's Antique Roadshow: Captain Picard goes from planet to planet appraising the value of various alien artifacts. Some artifacts are priceless relics, others are cheap Ferengi knockoffs. Is that doorway your grandfather gave you a REAL Iconian portal? Just ask Jean-Luc!

Everybody Loves Jean-Luc: A wacky, 25th century sitcom about the shenanigans an elderly former Startfleet Captain and Federation ambassador and his ragtag band of renegade friends get up to in the space previously occupied by the Romulan Star Empire.

Star Trek: The Nursing Home Years

Picard does have Irrimotic Syndrome, as predicted in All Good Things. He barely has any short term memory, and is gradually degenerating. Since it's the evolved 25th century, he's treated really well with the best medical science available, but all they can do is delay the inevitable. He lives comfortably, trying vainly to remember his glory days. All his friends visit him to tell him stories, he only remembers them some of the time, but he enjoys the stories.

Edit: Now I'm talking myself into thinking maybe that's a terrible idea for a series, but possibly a good idea if it were a single episode event.

    Picard's Pi Cards.

Patrick Stewart plays Captain Picard in 'Picard's Pi Cards'. See the former captain of the Enterprise who in his dotage has taken up expressing Pi on pieces of card of all shapes, colours and sizes.

Season finale will see Picard performing an astounding feat as he combines every card shown over the season into a gigantic 3D representation of Pi.

    I predict a hit.

Denise the Menace: What appears to be a grumbling old man shaking his fist at a mischievous and precocious child is actually a cat-and-mouse battle between two of the galaxy's most formidable secret agents. Captain Picard has come out of retirement at the request of Section 31 to take command of the new Enterprise-G from William Riker. His mission? To spy on Riker and Troi's eight-year-old daughter, Denise. Unbeknownst to her parents, while she was still in the womb, the Romulans covertly altered her DNA to that of Commander Sela (minus the ears) and genetically programmed her to be the ultimate spy and saboteur. Each week, the Captain must foil her plans to destroy the Enterprise-G and smuggle Federation secrets into Romulan hands. Yet, to Riker, Troi and the rest of his crew, it appears as if the Captain is slowly slipping into senility!
