Homur?
Custodial work with a splash of sadism? They did keep their planet nice and paradisaical. Why keep the Kelpiens around, and why kill them all, if there was a very good reason to let them live for ongoing centuries?
those are dual use by design - nothing to see hereSo Galactic Acme Corp sold these big hollow obelisks to both the Preservers and the Ba'ul to use for ship hulls, guard sentries, or whatever. One of these two civilizations doesn't realize they're using the obelisks upside down, and nobody has the heart to tell them.

the first show will depict picard dig up remnants of an allout war on kaminarThe ship and characters not being mentioned in other shows shouldn't be an issue. Jonathon Archer was never mentioned on other shows either, with only the mention of a USS Archer in Nemesis to make up for it. Perhaps the Picard show will acknowledge DSC in some way. Who knows?
DC comics did a story examining Kirk's disregarding of the prime directive in The Apple which showed Gamma Trianguli 6 falling into chaos due to Kirk's actions. It would be interesting if the Picard show did something similar and showed us the consequences of Pike's actions on Kaminar 130-odd years later.the first show will depict picard dig up remnants of an allout war on kaminar![]()
Young predators often are vulnerable, even if the adults are formidable, I could see that as evolutionarily advantageous.why do young Kelpiens need threat ganglia?
That might just be my favourite line from any captain ever. I've really taken to this Pike and though I know it's unlikely I'd really like to see him in his own series aboard the Enterprise.
Two out of a Starfleet senior crew of five is a pretty poorly kept secret. Why Worf though? He's led a pretty straight laced existence and isn't any older than the others. I could more see O'Brien having come across them in the Cardassian war.Worf and Jadzia were the only members of the command staff that had had a worldly enough career to have heard of Section 31.
I have a little bit of a sad that it is Pike, as opposed to an otherwise identical but new character. Say, Bob McTightPants from the starship Wellington, but the rest of the story is the same. That way we could keep this excellent new Captain character without the continuity bots exploding in our heads.
I will be very surprised if you dont get your wish for a Pike/Enterprise show, the only way it could be stopped is due to copyright issues or certain essential cast members not being willing to commit to it."Bryce, hail these bastards."

Is that what the Kelpiens are fishing for?
