Donny's Refit Enterprise Interiors (Version 2.0)

Thanks for all the birthday wishes, everyone!

I didn't get as far with the helm as I expected last night. Should finish it up tonight for some new screenshots. I'm really hoping to get to the display screens this weekend!
Make sure the TMP version has the correct YAW PITCH ROLL indicators, since I need...er, want to see them. ;)

Indeed it is! I used the standard available schematics of the Miranda and Oberth, but I’m definitely making all Ship schematics around the Enterprise bridge their screen-accurate Phase II diagrams, much as I did before.

You're not going to go to the length of re-using that inaccurate Reliant graphic (about the only custom image of the Reliant on the entire bridge)?

I will be re-creating that graphic for that station, yes. I may create front and side views of the ship in that style as well for the damage & repair stations. Haven't decided yet. But if I do I will most likely update my attitude indicator display to have those graphics instead of the more modern ones.

Yeah, schematics of the Phase II Enterprise were used throughout TWOK. I didn't notice it until I saw the text commentary for said movie.

There is a blooper on the Enterprise bridge set in TWOK: you can notice it after Kirk returns fire and he later laments that he was "caught with his britches down," you can see the ship display on the Weapons/Defense showing the Reliant instead of the Enterprise (it's blurred, but you can make it out!).

That is so weird! I think I have to agree with blssdwlf and say that had to be intentional. They filmed the Enterprise scenes before they did Reliant. I don't think it can be a pickup because the other weapons display is in its pre-oval (or ellipse) configuration (and that configuration persisted through TSFS. I think the only way it could be accidental is if they did a pickup shot just as the changeover to Reliant was starting, but before the more dramatic changes (painting, moving and adding wild sections) had occured? That would be a pretty big stretch though. That it was because they connected to Reliant's computer makes the most sense I think

I think it was deliberate. It’s in two shots. I suspect if

Make sure these look like the Phase II Reliant. ;)

Finally! After three (or was it four?) nights, I've finished the helm console.

There are actually more differences between the TMP console and the TWOK console. See if you can spot them all!

Here's a closer look at the TMP console:

There's painfully little reference for Sulu's TMP throttle, but I think I got it as close as I could:

Closeup of the navigator's side in it's TWOK configuration:

And a the helmsman's side:

Looks like Sulu went from driving an automatic thruster to a manual. :nyah:
