I'm interested to see what the bridge of the Enterprise will look like in the finale if they show it.

    No hurry for me. YMMV.

I suspect the Enterprise will play a more prominent role than just showing up in the finale, and we'll get to see it for several episodes.

Besides, just because the big reveal of the Enterprise was in the S1 finale, it doesn't necessitate doing the same thing again for S2.

They're 100% going to show it, but I have feeling it won't be late in the season, unless they did pickups.

I’m picking the Enterprise is going to be refitted into the version we see on the display (straight nacelle struts) according to Pikes requirements eg: the version Eaves created prior to the VFXs team ‘tweaking’ the design.

In other words, the Pikey Enterprise (to unashamedly appropriate an EagleMoss term)!

Edit: please disregard my post - as this has been ruled out / proven incorrect at the latest Season 1 concept art report, recently posted.

Why not at the last episode of S2 to pick up Pike?

Eh, I don't think they'd build the set for a single scene, I'm imagine we'll get some action on the bridge.

Maybe the Enterprise joins Discovery in some sort of mission with Number One in the chair.

If They have actually created an Antagonist to represent the Red Angels (instead of it being just another Macguffin), then we could possibly see both ships together, engaged in a somewhat lengthy (by Trek standards) space battle.
    ;)

or not... a lotta IF's in that thought ... :vulcan:

Well the Red Angles could be testing them to engage some sort of enemy.

I suspect this. Something like the Enterprise to come in and save the Discovery in a tense situation, then joining up for the remainder of the season.

It'll be the first time we'd see the Enterprise 1701 in a combat situation since Star Trek III. Even in the DS9 Tribble episode she was shown orbiting Deep Space Station K-7 and never firing weapons at the Klingons.

It'll be an historic moment in Trek to be certain.

also the USS enterprise (pikey) did end up being the USS shran, not sure what's up with that but the issue after it is the regular sized disco enterprise model.

there's been some other irregularities lately, the qoj-class model apparently has a veqlargh label on the stand.

If the do show the Enterprise bridge; it will most probably be either a straight redress of the Shenzhau, Discovery, or a new set built to match the lines of the classic TOS Bridge but with DSC architecture/displays.

They will definitely show it. They've explicitly said they built a new set, and those who have seen it have described it as "emotional" and "moving".

I haven't seen that, been trying to stay largely spoiler free for S2.
If they've built a dedicated ENT set, then I imagine it's going to be similar enough to the original for feelz, but updated to match the art direction of the DSC show.
