    Can't you keep them both?

It's what I thought the first time I saw "Cause And Effect"... Why can't they do BOTH?!!!

Now I realize that most scenarios would be impossible with that kind of logic...

I really don't do much game playing on the PC as I used to. It just doesn't interest me in that way anymore. The most I do now is forums like here, a bit of writing and emails, or the occasional bit of music listening.

I am finding it much easier to have the two things separate now and for some reason games now seem much better to play on the console then they did on the PC. So that's another reason I made the switch.

Also the power saving. Since I like to be on a computer a little the laptop and desktop screen together uses just under 30 watts. With the tower running it was something like 480 watts when games were being run. The console is less then half of that under full load.

Still RE 2 with Leon’s second run. The zombies seem to be more persistent in this mode and the Tyrant more annoying. Managed to get past him though after many attempts.

I'm not sure if I'm going to get going with The Witcher III, I've been playing for months, and I'm barely half way through, and to be honest, I'm kind of starting to lose interest. I will confess I did kind of do it to myself, since I keep getting sidetracked by other things, but I think the fact that I am getting so easily sidetracked is probably a bad sign anyways.
Just for reference I just got past the part where Yennifer and the Witchers turn Uma back into his original form.

Still doing Horizon Zero Dawn and it is a fracking amazing game. I didn't think I'd get hooked by such a game but here I am and I am loving this one. It was an impulse purchase. I knew of it, knew a little bit about it even but I decided to give it a go regardless and now yeah.

Is it true it's about 80 hours to finish the main story?

Why is that one super hard? I have heard people are stuck there.

Mind you fuck fuck fuck QTE things in games.

Who thought those were good things? Fuck that fucking fuckity fuck shit.

Tomb Raider 2013 Definitive Edition I'm stuck on that bloody parachuting part where you have to fly through some trees to a shanty town.

Oh and on that why do so many games think we need a shanty town level?

Oh great you guys are making me very nervous about that bird mission. How far into the game is it? I only just got the device to control machines.

I FINALLY beat Level 20 of Dr. Mario at medium speed. The trick was to not overthink the pills and just run on autopilot :)

I also started Epilogue II of Red Dead Redemption II. I have to say, I got the "A New Jerusalem" trophy from said mission last night, and I had a cheesy smile on my face through the whole mission. I'm dreading beating this game, because I know whatever game I play next won't resonate with me as much as RDR II :(

    I have been experimenting.

Tomb Raider 2013 runs on my laptop. It's not fluid smooth but it's actually playable. I was surprised that it actually will even run. Menus screens and such are quick but inside the game it's quite workable. I am pleased with the result.

TR Underworld also runs but the transition screens take forever and ever to load up. But that too seems to run at a somewhat playable level.

Splitting time between Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, since I finished the story for Assassin's Creed II recently, and Assassin's Creed: Rogue, since I downloaded it for free with my xbox live gold membership this month.

I finally beat Red Dead II and even though I still have some legendary fish to catch and some legendary animals to hunt, I think I'm finally going to try out Just Cause 4 tonight.

Resident Evil 2 still but I’ve got to point where I can’t do anything as I have no health, no ammo and a zombie blocking me in a narrow corridor that I need to pass. Rather annoying.

Played Lego Indiana Jones 2 this afternoon, unlocked four new achievements on my xbox 360!

"Wiped Clean by the Wrath of God" (edit a bonus level in the builder), "And I Even Like the Color" (create a validated builder level), "What a Vivid Imagination" (complete a 'Build Your Own Adventure'), and "I Can Almost Reach It!" (complete all treasure mode levels in the Crusade hub).

This is one of three Lego games I have that I haven't finished to 100%, along with Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga & Lego Dimensions. So, I may be playing this one for the next few days, see what else I can get.

    Mad Max on PS4.... again.

I've played it twice on PC and got kinda tired of it, but a friend bought me an FPS game for Christmas, and he had no idea it's a genre I simply do not touch, so the best I could trade it for was Mad Max.

I guess playing on console is a bit different, but I've played it too much as it is. Going slow. I really want to get to Infamous Second Son instead, but I'm waiting to buy it.

And on the 3, I have Saints Row 2.... again. First time on console, since I found it super cheap on digital.
Despite playing it 6 times, at least (3 times in a span of a month or less during 2017), it's.... still freaking fun. Something about SR is just.... fun, what can I say?

I have to agree here. I don't know what it is with those games but whenever I am in them I find I am having a lot of fun even if it's just doing random stuff in each gameworld and not doing the actual game missions. I still find myself having fun with them.

Never played SR 1 but have done 2, 3, and 4 multiple times. I prefer the craziness of 3 and 4 though.

Yeah, I never played 1 either, because I won't touch an Xbox, but I did watch a full playthrough of it before I started 2, just to at least know what was happening, and it worked well enough.

The funniest part is, SR essentially was a GTA-clone at first. The first time I played 2, I commented at how blatant it was (but it quickly became its own thing in 3 and beyond), yet it was still fun. And still is. Anyway, so the funny part is, despite that background, its controls are TEN TIMES better than GTA. I mean, I cannot stress how godawful the controls in GTA IV were, so much so (and the general tone of those games), it simply wasn't fun to play.
GTA V fixed a lot of IV's issues, but the shooting controls still left a lot to be desired, even on PC. Simply because of one issue they changed from the 3D universe: removing third person aiming. You always have to go into aim mode.

I realized Saint's Row doesn't do that, and something like SRIV (which is honestly the most fun in an open world I've ever had) had controls that were simply perfect. So the clone surpassed the original.

I mean, it's baffling. Rockstar are geniuses with open world... yet they can't do the easiest part with aiming? Especially when their own clones have perfected it already? Copy them back!

I personally liked the darker serious story of 2 more than 3, but 4 was so goofy in its own world (it's not like it didn't make sense), I have to give it to it as my favorite, both in gameplay and tone.

Funny too since I absolutely hated 3 my first time on PC, but loved it on console...? I can't explain it.

There's a lot of LPs that come up on my Facebook feed.

You know, it's fine if you're bad at video games. And it's fine if you stream yourself playing video games. But it's not fine if you are in both groups. If you are bad enough at games that you need to cheat every five seconds not to die through rewinds and save states and such, you are not good enough at games to be broadcasting yourself playing games.

Git gud or git eht. :)
