Who should become the next Doctor after Whittaker?

Ironically, Grade since the revival he has softened towards the show.

This is another issue I have with NuWho fans. They claim to be super fans, yet know little about the show's production history,

Have they actually had three-year contracts or is that something fans have assumed based on the results? I don't think I've ever seen that explicitly stated, but I'm ready to be proven wrong.
Hmm, turns out Tennant's contract actually was five years, good until 2010. Smith really did only have a three year contract, and had to negotiate separate contracts for both Day of the Doctor and Time of the Doctor. Which is why when Moffat began writing Day, he wasn't sure which Doctors he could use, not even Smith was guaranteed. Given Capaldi was out the door almost the moment his third season ended, I'd say he only had a three year contract.

This is an odd attitude, not everyone is aware of the behind the scenes drama which goes on on the shows they watch, and regardless, if one is a Nu Who fan who never watched the classic era, why should they be required to know what went on behind the scenes back then?

Has anyone connected to show even talked about how long they expect her to stay? While it's true we only assume she will leave after 3 or 4 years I wonder if anyone other than fans have talked about this to the press or something.

Chibnall's been said to have a five year plan. Whether that means Jodie's The Doctor for the entire run is anyone's guess. Keep in mind that Davies originally planned for Christoper Eccleston to be The Doctor in Series 2-4 and Moffat planned for Matt Smith to be The Doctor in Series 8-9.

Series 10 was an unplanned delight brought on by Moffat agreeing to keep the series going while Chibnall completed his Broadchurch run. Thus the delay and multiple Christmas specials. His final Christmas special was also unplanned. Moffat wanted to end his and Capaldi's run with The Doctor Falls, but the BBC told him that if there wasn't a Christmas special that year they couldn't guarantee the series a Christmas spot the following year. Not wanting to be the guy that killed the Doctor Who Christmas specials, Moffat changed the ending of The Doctor Falls to keep Capaldi from regenerating until the special.

Also, Moffat and Chibnall originally wanted Tennant and Capaldi for their inaugural series, but they both politely declined to change their plans to leave. Basically, plans change. We'll know how long we'll have had the pleasure to spend time with Thirteen when we know it. I, for one, can't wait for Series 11 to start. I've loved every Doctor I've encountered so far (Shout out to David motherfucking Warner's criminally unheralded alternate universe "Unbound" Third Doctor, with two serials and two additional four episode seasons to his name over at Big Finish.), and I highly doubt that will change. October can't get here soon enough.

I've just seen an actor called Ken Bones in an episode of Father Brown.

I think maybe the next Doctor should revert back to the second one :

I wonder if they will ever do that someday? We have already seen one old doctor recasted with a new actor but would they do that someday and make him a series regular as well? Would that the first time the show did a traditional reboot as opposed to what they do now with having each new Doctor still connected to everything that came before.
