By DSC standards that is one good-looking starship. Of course we have John Eaves and to a wider extent the late, great Matt Jefferies to thank for that.

She's still the best ship in the entire series.

The Shenzhou does have a nice NX-class meets Miranda-class feel going on.

Spock looks okay. Kirk looks like Jeffery Dean Morgan and McCoy looks like Dr. Smith from Lost in Space. :D

That's a pretty ship you got there. I do wish it looked less dark or have the aztec toned down a bit, tho.

I do wish the aztecing were not so heavy. Both the TOS and DSC Enterprise look like a direct descendant of the NX-01 without having the surface detailing of that particular starship. They could have just added more surface details to the original TOS color scheme.

The superaztecing actually makes the lack of surface details MORE noticable. I'm not in favor of adding pointless detail generally, but it would help balance out the intensity of the aztecing. Of course the better option would be to tone down the aztecing.

The more I see, the more I kinda dislike it. I mean, I always liked the design, just not the timeline/universe they stuck it in. Especially when there was nothing wrong with the original design in the first place.

But the more I see, the more it just seems...I dunno...off. I fear our first look at the Bridge.

OR was he beamed away at the moment of impact? Pretty sure they've used that before to fake a death.
