How much of an adjustment will Emperor Georgiou have?

She will have to be careful, very few people know that she is in fact the mirror version so she will have to dial it back a bit from what she is used to, even Pike may not know its hard to tell from the trailers.

The biggest danger to her will be when she bumps into others who knew prime Georgiou, Section 31 will be able to help her with that, making sure she knows who she has to be most careful around.

Shouldn’t it be Empress? Sounds cooler to me.
I don't disagree, but I've always seen her referred to as Emperor.
The writer of the episode where we hear her introduced by her full name and titles, said he and the other writers were instructed to use masculine titles to represent that the MU is gender neutral. The one concession was granted when Georgiou was referred to as the "Mother of the Fatherland" as that was considered too cool sounding to pass up.

Pike does call her "Captain Georgiou" in the last trailer, but that might just be for the benefit of the crew.

Yeah there is no way to tell one way or the other yet.

Yeoh said at New York Comic-Con that Pike doesn’t know.

Remember all the mirror universe stuff was classified.

I wouldn’t be surprised if he found out before the end of the season however.

And again, it's a trailer, so things are out of order and out of context.

Lots of Spock in the trailer, but IMDB only lists him in 2 episodes (1 & 13).

She'll just have the same eye drops Lorca was using.

Get her some tinted contact lenses if the medical tech isn't there to just fix the problem.
(I know, if it was, why didn't MU Lorca use it? He planned on getting back to the MU and then he probably wouldn't be able to see)

She'll have about as much of an adjustment as Mirror-Lorca had. ;)

And yeah, I'd love to see the character get her own series like they've been talking. I'd watch as I enjoy watching Michelle Yeoh in anything. :)

100 year difference
And, perhaps "gender neutral" means they're free to choose their preferred pronouns and titles, so there's no contradiction.
But also, I seem to recall that early in the MU arc, they said something about the Emperor being a shadowy figure that little was known about - so perhaps the masculine term wasn't just meant to mislead we the viewers, but also to mislead people *in story*.

She wasn't able to playact for 5 minutes as Captain. They wrote her in S1 as more of toddler-in-chief than as a truly conniving leader. If they write her for S2 at all the same way they wrote her for S1, Pike and the rest of the galaxy will have no trouble figuring out what's up in no time at all or else the audience will be laughing. Hopefully, the writing has improved in that area (and many others).
