So true, like with this classic:It would not be the first time a Trek ship was turned around or flipped upside down between design and use.

They just copied one side and glued it together.
To tell the truth, I'm not even sure which is really the TOP.
This is the way it came out of the box.
(no wonder the previous pics were topsy-turvey)
The three very large prongs on the left are definitely the front of the ship.
(the instructions for placing it on the stand say the bulb end is the REAR)
I'm in the process of putting together pics of the booklet, will post soon.

If you read the text, that's exactly what Bryan Fuller told the designers to do, ignore everything that came before. Thanks for that. It’s almost as if they hired some guy who had never seen Star Trek or Klingons before in his life and was told to make ships from scratch using any design he felt like.
Fun fact, ISS Discovery's plaque has the same quote, only written in Latin.
Same with the ISS Shenzhou
The emperor does go by Augustus, which was an honorific (Name/title?) given to Roman emperorsLatin, the language of Ancient Rome. So, in the Mirror Universe, the Roman Empire never fell.

Then John Eaves would have done the same thing, made ships that don’t look Klingon. Just in a different style.Boy, that went well. If only he had said that to John Eaves instead of this guy.
