Who thought it was charming? In the more modern comics it was mostly a joke, and I think the character even got annoyed by it in either Power of Shazam or his short run of appearances in one of the Titans incarnations. Besides, freddie is the sidekick, so him having something stupid connected to him is completely different then having something stupid with Billy and his name.
Not if he was homeless or living on his own, like he's supposed to be but because they're copying Geoff Johns' atrocious "Shazam" run. If they're really being modern, I can't wait to see "Shazam" call people racial/homophobic slurs over Xbox Live while playing Call of Duty. He's not a realistic shithead teen without that.
What millennium are you living in son? A cell phone, even more than food or clothes, is something a homeless person would need FIRST. Depending on where they are a homeless person could get 3 square meals a day and clothes from a charity. A pay as you go cell phone (very cheap) would be vital if someone bounced from place to place as that number would be the one other thing that would be stable. And as a minor Billy would have food clothes and shelter taken care of (though odds that it could be bad...but I am looking forward to seeing what should be a sincerely good foster family)
My dad and I were homeless and living out of our pick-up truck a few summers ago. We both had cellphones. Amazingly enough, homeless people need to be able to have a way for their job to contact them for extra hours. It's kinda important. Also, if anyone unfortunately ends up in that situation, a membership to a chain of 24 hour gyms is your friend. Just walk on a treadmill for twenty minutes to seem like an average customer, and you have 24 hour access to a warm shower.
When Billy was living on his own he was a reporter for a radio and later TV station. I think he could afford a phone. He was homeless for about one issue. Not sure how long it took in Ordway's revamp, but it probably wasn't long. So any teen with a smartphone is automatically a "shithead teen"?
One of my phones is still a push button Trimline from the 1980s. It's super-ergonomic. I like to think that doesn't make me a shithead, but I often wish it had a speakerphone feature, though.
Natalia Safran is playing Sivana's wife, and Aquaman's mother. Nice for Natalia. Ca-ching! Not so great for continuity. Unless Aquaman's mother is Sivanna's wife?
Are you calling IMDB a liar?? Bold. Down the rabbit hole further, after the fraudulent entry as "Aquaman's mother" Natalia is listed as "Queen Rina" which could be Aquaman's Grandmother? Or not. The Fisherman Queen. http://dcextendeduniverse.wikia.com/wiki/Fisherman_Queen Too many prosthetics, or she's too cgi to be considered the same person. Sad. Sorry for believing in IMDB, like a punk.
To Kirk, anything that makes Billy anything but an incorruptible pure-heart orphan stuck in the 1940s makes him a shithead.
