The DSC Enterprise makes the TMP Refit look more like an actual refit instead of a complete rebuild.
Since the refit is an "almost totally new ship. You don't know her a tenth as well as I do", they should look fairly different.

If we are to believe that STD is in Prime universe, and Discoprise we see now is visual retcon of original Enterprise, what would Refit-Discoprise look like? The DSC Enterprise makes the TMP Refit look more like an actual refit instead of a complete rebuild.
I can't see it changing much at all since it already has all the detail needed for a modern TV show.If we are to believe that STD is in Prime universe, and Discoprise we see now is visual retcon of original Enterprise, what would Refit-Discoprise look like?

They'd probably just add a window.

DECKER: Admiral, this is an almost totally new Enterprise. You don't know her a tenth as well as I do.

All that matters are the tweets from the execs that assure it's it's PRIME UNIVERSEBut, as we've learned over the past year or so, the visuals aren't important and neither is the dialogue.
Not really. In many ways it is more different to the refit than TOS Enterprise was. The similarities are superficial, the saucer shape for example is completely different, and the secondary hull doesn't match any better than TOS one did.The DSC Enterprise makes the TMP Refit look more like an actual refit instead of a complete rebuild.

God that is ugly.If the current trend continues, something like this is not an unrealistic answer to that question:
That reminds me of some of the artwork from the Best of Trek paperback covers.
It's interesting, in its own way....
God that is ugly.
It doesn't remotely fit the discovery aesthetic. One thing it isn't is outside the realm of the Discovery aesthetic, especially if we take what there is now and project the series out to 7 seasons or whatever.

Looks like something you'd see in the Kelvin Timeline.
Nothing in Discovery remotely resembles that design aesthetic.I feel it does if you consider the whole of Discovery as a series, and not just the Discovery version of the Enterprise as its aesthetic is right at this moment.
Nothing in Discovery remotely resembles that design aesthetic.
What does that have to do with this discussion? We're talking within Discovery, not outside of it.Compare Klingon ships in Discovery to what came before in Trek.
It really doesn't.The Europa fits in with the Kroenerprise.
