Since the refit is an "almost totally new ship. You don't know her a tenth as well as I do", they should look fairly different.
If we are to believe that STD is in Prime universe, and Discoprise we see now is visual retcon of original Enterprise, what would Refit-Discoprise look like?
I can't see it changing much at all since it already has all the detail needed for a modern TV show.
They'd probably just add a window.
But in-universe it was a major redesign. To the point Kirk didn't know anything about the ship. They'll need at-least TWO new windows.
Sorry I got the dialogue wrong...
But, as we've learned over the past year or so, the visuals aren't important and neither is the dialogue.

Not really. In many ways it is more different to the refit than TOS Enterprise was. The similarities are superficial, the saucer shape for example is completely different, and the secondary hull doesn't match any better than TOS one did.
So it would be almost an entirely new Enterprise
If the current trend continues, something like this is not an unrealistic answer to that question:

It's interesting, in its own way....
I feel it does if you consider the whole of Discovery as a series, and not just the Discovery version of the Enterprise as its aesthetic is right at this moment.
Nothing in Discovery remotely resembles that design aesthetic.
Compare Klingon ships in Discovery to what came before in Trek.
The Europa fits in with the Kroenerprise.
What does that have to do with this discussion? We're talking within Discovery, not outside of it.
