What did you do the day "Discovery" Premiered?

I have to cheat in my case. I was looking forward to the premiere of Discovery but I had to deal with some unrelated personal drama that night. No need to get into it. But, after that disaster of a night passed, I rescheduled -- I had some friends over -- and we watched the premiere.

We had a good time and I hooked someone else into the series.

My TV reception wasn't working right, so I did some menial chores or something. I later watched the premier episode on CBS AA.

Made dinner. Found the TV trays. Poured the wine. Okay hubby poured the wine. Watched our lovely Oled give promise to new Trek.

I visited NASA in Florida and saw the Atlantis. It’s not as big as you think it is. The simulator of a Shuttle launch was alright but I found its equivalent ride at Epcot to be more realistic as I did feel nauseated afterwards.
I was disappointed they didn’t sale any Enterprise Shuttle models for my Enterprise collection. I’ll have to wait until Eaglemoss makes one.

Watched it with my Mum, who's the reason I'm into Trek and why you've all had to put up with me for the past ten years.

She sat me down to watch "Encounter at Farpoint" on BBC in 1990. I got Netflix so she can watch new Star Trek in 2017.

Dude I cannot even remember what I did last week...…….I know I stayed up till like 0300 to watch it live.

Actually I think when Discovery premiered I was probably watching either The Orville, Deep Space Nine, or one of the Arrowverse shows. Didn't check out the first episode of Discovery until almost month later.

My girlfriend and I watched the first part in the morning, before work. The second part in the evening, during dinner. It was a monday.

I celebrated with good food & alcohol that Trek was back on TV, something I genuinely thought would never happen again after Enterprise sh*t itself in its final episode.

Was pissed CBS delayed the premiere on All-Access because of NFL overruns. Same thing happened to The Orville.

My wife and I had a nice dinner and some wine, put the kids to bed, and cranked it up in the home theater room.

We watched "Vulcan Hello" as it broadcast and watched "Binary Stars" on AA after. Then I came on here for all the fun! Awesome day!

It was an ordinary Sunday for me, I went to work, came home, shot the shit online, and then it was time for the Main Event. Which was delayed twenty minutes due to NFL overtime, which on Space channel meant twenty minutes worth of interviews previewing the show. Yeah, there's nothing more frustrating then getting ready to watch a show only to discover you have to endure twenty minute previews of the show.
