(As it happens, I've occasionally thought that Stephen Amell would make a pretty good Captain Kirk.)
Discovery Season 3.
A young lieutenant Kirk(Amell) joins the crew on temporary duty.

Curious though, what do you think will happen? Will Ollie take a sort of leader-back-at-base role this season, or will he but the Hood back on within two episodes?

And worst/most dangerous job... Mayor of Gotham(on Gotham) or Mayor of Star City(Arrow)?
Mayors of Seattle on iZombie don't seem to fare much better.
I'd like to see the former, but I think it's unlikely that they'll change the format that much. He'll probably resume the hood, which could be interesting with his identity publicly known now.
The problem there is that Amell is currently 37, the age Shatner was at the start of TOS season 3. Presuming DSC season 3 takes place in 2259, Kirk would be only 26.
Season 2: Sebastian Blood, Altman - Murdererd
Speaking at the Motor City Comic Con this weekend, actor Stephen Amell revealed that he will finally debut Oliver Queen's classic goatee in the forthcoming season.
"Just because you've been polite, and just because everyone has been so nice to me today, I can break some news for you and let you know that in season seven, I am going to debut the goatee," he said.
"I can't promise that I'm going to keep [the goatee] forever. I can definitely promise that I'm not going to wear the stupid hat."

Didn't he already wear the classic Green Arrow outfit at a costume party way back in season 1? Though in-story it was a Robin Hood costume.
1. A politician needs to be convicted in an impeachment trial in order to be removed from office. Being "impeached" just means being formally charged.
4. Here's a basic plot point that nobody seemed to care about: how long is Oliver's prison sentence? 5 years? Life in prison? It's a fairly important detail.
5. I get that they want to make Oliver's sacrifice look noble, but it would have been nice if Oliver admitted that maybe...just maybe...he deserved a few years in prison for murdering all those people. Instead, his "penance" is for not being an effective enough super-hero.![]()
6. It seemed pretty easy for Oliver to get Anatoly back in the good graces of the Bratva. Is there some reason why he didn't do so a year ago?
15. Speaking of "Star City": the end of the season had a few references to "Starling City" places like "Starling City Hospital." Did they really not rename the hospital, or are we back to calling it Starling City?
16. Am I just behind on the tech? It seems weird that Felicity is able to copy an inactive flash drive from a few feet away.
17. As usual: it's a bit hard to justify the lack of the Flash, Supergirl, or Legends helping out Oliver.
18. Has Cisco really never given Oliver an emergency interdimensional portal? It might have come in handy during the 'dying of smoke' scene. They could have even stuck around until the file was decrypted and then escaped via the portal.

Sara was THERE when Quentin died.... in her *time traveling space ship*.... with a FUTURE MED POD that could have saved her father from even having to go through with the surgury, and probably could have healed him from barely dead, with a stasis coma or something.....
They didn't even try. The whole death scene was contrived and cliched.
