What Marvel films are worth seeing?

I didn't say they were the same.

My point was to say that I give the same amounts of shits for all of them. Which is somewhere close to zero shits.

You give zero shits, yet you post in this thread. Move along little fella

Watched Thor 2 for the first time last night. NOT worth watching. Will have to watch Ragnarock again as a palate clenser :)

Yeah, The Dark World is really a special kind of awful. It takes effort to make a movie that bad and it doesn't shock me in the slightest that the experience completely soured Hemsworth on continuing as Thor (until Taika Waititi came around).

I was warned going in that it was going to be bad, but....at least I got to look at Chris Hemsworth for a bit ;)

Probably the term "indistinguishable" wasn't the most suitable to use, because it literally ("literally" as "literally" ;)) means that someone can't distinguish a thing from another (i.e. These forgeries are so good that they are more or less indistinguishable from the originals or The twins are indistinguishable from each other).

So it seemed that you said exactly this. :)

Oh well, to each to his own taste.

Fair...!

I think what i meant was, in my mind, they are all interchangeable / go into the same bucket in terms of the type of entertainment they provide.

Have you actually watched any of the HP movies?

You're adorable. Sorry if I made you feel bad that your superhero movies don't appeal to me.

Obviously... since you can't stay out of the thread. Gotta do what you gotta do for attention I guess. Have fun dumpling.

MU films are the worst kind of repetitive, unoriginal popcorn tripe. Not well written, not original, not inspired in any way. Video games on the big screen. Flimsy ovies built around set pieces filled with cliche, one-liners, and mind-numbing CGI throughout. Made to service the summer blockbuster droolers and rake in cash hand-over-fist with empty gimmickry.

The MU stuff in general is like the fucking herpes of the entertainment world.

I'm sorry that upsets you. You seem very upset. But I do appreciate this forum for allowing me to point it out.

So...to answer the original poster's question...I'd say none of them are likely worth watching. Just my humble opinion, which is what was openly solicited here.

Yeah, but if you were asking for what was the best steak house, and a vegan chimed in, they'd only be doing it to feel superior to you.

You're welcome not to like superhero films, but the fact that you don't adds zero value to the thread.

The poster asked for an opinion. I gave mine. People do it all the time every single day over and over again out here, positive or negative. I think you know that.

Actually, @JirinPanthosa didn't ask for an opinion, but for recommendations.

Of these, I liked Black Panther, Avengers 1 and GoG the best and thought Iron Man 1 was okay.

Based on this, what other Marvel films are worth seeing? Infinity War the obvious one.

And, no, "They all suck" is not a recommendation.

Well, this is what s/he said:

So s/he liked some MCU movies. I belieleve that saying that movies s/he enjoyed are worthless isn't a great contribution to the discussion. And s/he even added:

Based on this, what other Marvel films are worth seeing?

So s/he explicitly said "based on this", not "based on your personal tastes".

I have enjoyed all the Captain America movies. He is an example of a heroic heart even before he became enhanced and even in the presence of higher power levels. Chris Evans (whose politics shits me) when he comes out of that chamber that pumps him (Cap) up - :adore: I would watch it for that scene alone.

Iron Man One is iconic for kick starting the movie franchise.

Thor is quite enjoyable. It has Loki in it too.

Avengers. I still feel the first one hit all the right notes.

X-Men. As long as Hugh Jackman is in it then it is good.

I thought about it once, but then I remembered I needed to paint my driveway.
I don't understand, why would you feel anyone would value opinions built on ignorance? If you have nothing positive to contribute, why bother? It's okay you don't care for these series, I do hope no one's like forcing you to watch or anything, but do you like think only your tastes are valid or something? I am just not getting what you really hope to as accomplish?

I agree very much with @Refuge, except I don't know anything about Chris Evans' politics. I just love everything about Steve Rogers.

Guys, don't feed the troll.

Branching this out from the MCU, pretty much everything in the X-Men Cinematic Universe - not counting Deadpool - is worth watching, as is the entire Sam Raimi Spider-Man Trilogy.
