Eh, still not a huge fan. It's not terrible, but it could have been better. Also ridiculous they kept the 60s deflector. 6/10.
For me, that's a bad thing. Still, I've seen worse (particularly on this show).

Note the singular rabbit tooth windows along the saucer rim! Recycled sets inbound...
ETA: And now that I look even closer it might indeed be just a painting because the pylon on the starboard side doesn't seem to connect at the same spot as the one portside.
less then 1.How likely will it be that we see the Discoprise refit to look like the TOS version(short of the overall new length)?

Pretty lame "design."
Yes. Which makes it look better than it ever did in the show.the Discovery is also oddly coloured and shaded.
It does look better doesn't it? It's not oddly coloured either. It's just what the ship looks like without all that awful blue saturation on the SFX.Yes. Which makes it look better than it ever did in the show.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but hasn't The Cage already taken place?See it happen? Not likely with these producers.
That said, TOS is still almost eight years off. That's a lot of time for a starship to be refit to what we see commanded by Kirk. Some ships change a lot more than this in less time.
Yep, which leads to the amazing idea that the Enterprise was refit, enlarged, then unrefit and shrunk between "The Cage" and "Where No Man..."Correct me if I'm wrong, but hasn't The Cage already taken place?
