USS Enterprise (eventually) on Discovery?

Oh, really? The A is ok, I suppose, but I strongly dislike its pylons and the rest of the ship is so-so. It's better than 1701-J, I guess, but otherwise it's my least favourite Enterprise. The actual reboot design, however, was a contender to my top best sci-fi ship ever, but in the end the TMP design won out. :)

I'll say this. You can hate on the TOS Connie all you want, but if anyone wants to attack both the TOS and the TMP Connie designs they're worse than Space Hitler. And Space Hitler doesn't even like himself.

Prime? The events of First Contact to ENT and then all the way through the later series and films to NEM and then the Hobus supernova that destroys Romulus in 2387. One could also include Captain Braxton, Daniels and the future scenes in "Living Witness(VOY)."

"Thankfully this general design idea is all that’s taken from the Kelvin-universe."

I'd pick the Kelvinprise over the Discoprise any day:shrug:

The jjprise was designed by talented artists.

I'm not sure that it's accurate to describe this Frankenstein mesh as "designed" at all.

That is hard to tell! It has some beautiful details, but they butchered the overall shape so badly that it doesn't matter. Squishing those huge bulbous engines close together on those melty pylons was just terrible, and I cannot fathom how anyone could intentionally do that. It doesn't look like it was designed, it looks like a result of some horrible accident.

What about this one?

Whatever the creators say it is.

DSC's showrunners say it takes place in Prime continuity. Therefore, it does. End of discussion.

See, I took the pedantic nerd route and tried to explain things seriously. You took the smartass route. I should have done the same.
