NFL 2017 Season

I don't really participate in these threads, so I don't know if any there are any Bills fans here, (I think eddie might be?) But if there are, I just wanted to say congrats. No fan base is more deserving.

Plus it made for a really great ending to the season.

#DaltonstatueinBuffalo.

I agree, it’s pretty cool that Buffalo made it in.

What’s the word on McCoy?

Man today just sucked. :(
I feel bad for Cousins. If the Skins can't commit do bringing in some quality people, I hope they do just let him walk. Heck, as fun as it has been watching Keenum this year, I'd take Cousins in a heartbeat.

Also, I did watch a lot of the Broncos game per usual -- ABQ is part of their home market, so I usually always flip between their game and TRZ late game. I was curious to see why everyone is so high on Mahomes because I grew up watching his dad "pitch."

I remember one time on my BFF's birthday, our parents let us go to the game by ourselves. First time. Suffice it to say were were really excited and felt all grown-up. And then the game starts and Mahomes gives up 10 runs in 2 1/3 innings. Anyway, I thought that floater to Stewart looked oddly familiar. I admit, though, he looked pretty impressive on that last drive.

Not sure. Though I saw a Schefter Tweet a couple of hours ago saying preliminary testing was positive, whatever that means.

Poor form by the Colts. Not even letting Pagano enjoy the win tonight before firing him.
Agreed. Especially given everything the guy's gone through in his life. It was nice to see Dungy stand up for him.

RedZone reported that x-rays were negative. But that still leaves a sprain or ligament damage as a possibility.

Congrats to Buffalo, wild finish and nice to end the drought. And Jacksonville is beatable as well, so could be a good setup.

As a Pats fan, could be best case for us, though. Getting Buffalo at home in the divisional round would be a bonus instead of having to face KC again. Let KC and the Steelers duke it out and send us the survivor

Perfect summary of the Lewis era. Bumbling, moments of decency, backed into a win. They got SO much help from flags, and still tried to blow it at the end. Got there somehow, but can't say coaching was part of the success.

Wasted Bengals era. They had the talent, just no one to help push them over the top...

Marvin Lewis wants to coach the Bengals next season

Which means he'll sign a two or three year deal, if he stays and that Mike Brown won't fire him for the duration of the contract no matter how bad they are. We are returning to the sad state of affairs the franchise and fans endured during the 1990's.

Makes me happy I'm a Dolphins fan... oh, wait...

I know. It has been nearly 12 years since I left Cincinnati. I'm still amazed they haven't gotten rid of him.

49ers ended the season with a 6-10 record and I couldn't be more happy. We found our future QB and the draft pick is either 9th or 10th pending a coin toss with the Raiders. After starting the season 0-9, the future is looking bright.

I'm sure people thought the same thing with the Raiders last year. I know I was excited about the Dolphins for 2017, after the Dolphins made the playoffs last year. Only to watch them crash and burn.

Exactly.

And it would have been 5-11 if we had decided to play yesterday.

:p

I like what the Rams are building, but they are another team that needs to avoid the trap of thinking they are better than they are. They're a Todd Gurley knee injury away from 7-9, or worse.

Everyone except the Patriots are a key knee injury away from a bad year.

I’m just enjoying this for a little bit. It’s been a long time. I know we’re not in the top tier yet.

I do think we can beat Atlanta at home. Prime Time slot, need to make the best of it. Can’t wait!

It would have been a better game. We'll see what happens in 2018, but the 49ers were not the same team yesterday as the team that went 0-9. In terms of the Raiders that was just a mighty disappointment and the coach paid the price for it, even though it sounds like this was in the works prior to yesterday's game with the possibility of Gruden coming back.

Ted Thompson out as the GM in Green Bay. Mike McCarthy's seat will be mighty warm next season.
