I totally disagree. Lorca's first course of action was to return to Starbase via standard Warp Drive.

The first thing he tells Stamets is that Klingons are on their way hell bent on revenge, it's only after Stamets mentions making the jump to protect the crew that he says he "would never ask that" and gives a most unconvincing "we''ll be fine just warping there." That whole exchange seemed totally fishing for a jump to me.

I love the show as it was until now I do not want any exploration shit in unknown places for that already exists voyager !! I want to continue with the plot of the war against the Klingons!

can't we do both?

so voyager and tos are the only shows allowed to explore something new?

One thing i dont quite get is the Saving Pahvo deal .. Was the planet ever in any danger?

If the Klingons launched a massive bombardment of the entire planet's surface, that would most likely kill the aliens. And Starfleet cares about saving innocent life forms. Plus, the Klingons would destroy the transmitter that Starfleet was hoping to use to detect cloaked Klingon ships. So the planet also had great strategic value to Starfleet.

Nah...people are too hung up on the "Jason Isaacs is a villain" thing. Sometimes it's just simple stuff. Stamets volunteered to do one more jump, and in his weakened / non-ideal state...the jump put them somewhere nobody wanted them to be.

Lorca isn't trying to push his agenda this time. He just wanted to get back to the Starbase.

if I want to see exploration there are already how for that I want to continue watching the show that I started to see !! which is about the war against the Klingons

Then after she said she understood killing T'Kuvma would make him a martyr and start a bloody war she kills T'Kuvma. This comes after she committed mutiny and tried to fire on a Klingon ship, an act the captain believed might start a war. To someone reading the reports, it looks like she was angry about the Klingon raid that killed her parents and wanted to start a war.

Perhaps Michael, like everybody else,
is a Klingon spy.

I have no idea what you're saying.

But the war isn't over yet, but will be over when Season 2 starts.

I agree. I really don't see how Lorca was pushing Stamets to do the jump. If the starbase was more than 3 hours away, I could see it, but that seems like a very reasonable amount of time with a very low risk of danger. I think Stamets just realized that doing one more "simple" jump after doing so many wasn't going to do any more harm to him, and wanted the Discovery to not be in any danger whatsoever, even with the relative low risk of same.

It's interesting that Lorca personally overrode the coordinates as they were about to jump.

The war against the Klingons was fun!
the strategies, the battles, the moral conflicts, the war traumas.
can visit planets like Pahvo while continue fighting the war !! I already saw voyager is not necessary to see the same show again

What does that mean, though? Was it just him programming in the starbase location? It just doesn't make sense right now.

I realise this is an American show and hence is likely to use American terms, but rape cannot be committed by someone unequipped with a penis in my UK centred view, so the absence of the term didn't seem odd.

I agree that it is brave to do a PTSD story about sexual torture of a male, in really hoping they don't undo it with a 'surprise' Voq reveal. I'm holding out hope it's been misdirection, or is at least cleverer than I'm imagining.

I am from the UK and have fo say your talking out your arse.
Rape can be committed by women. Women have been convict of rape in the uk!
Your claim is pretty much why men dont report it very often.......because idiots dont beleive it exists......

Rape in English law. Rape is a statutory offence in England and Wales. According to the law, rape occurs when one person penetrates another with their penis without the consent of the person being penetrated. If a victim is forcefully penetrated with an object, this is classed as "Assault by Penetration" (section 2).
from Wikipedia (but good enough for this purpose)

Similar law in Canada, if I recall correctly. US law differs.
