Most of us? I didn't know you had conducted a poll and based on the results are the fan group spokesperson regarding sex in ST.I think the main reason is most of us don't much want it anyway

I'm just going off a perceived bias in the posts here and previous threads....totally scientifically of course
Stereotypes are 1 dimensional as well. Cultural attitudes around nudity and sexuality are as varied across the globe as any other human activity.Victorian Era 19th century prudery is boring and one dimensional especially when projecting it into a science-fictional 23rd century.
Now what's more dramatic and interesting? It's more about why we are more tolerate to something that is wrong in the real world such as killing and violence but then get offended at something that is good in sex. I think the question is usually more about ourselves than it is the actual acts of sex or violence in a tv show or movie. In fact I think that might be another reason why people want to put sex scenes in shows. They want the audience to look at themselves from the emotional reaction they have to seeing it.

So what? That means we can't talk about sex? People have sex and Trek characters have sex and talking about how much of it is depicted on screen is a valid topic.Mods please lock this thread. There are kids who browse this board! Yeesh
For everyone who can’t wait to see some oral sex/gang bang/whatever shenanigans on Star Trek.
Didn’t they make some Trek-inspired porn movies a few years back?
Just google Star Trek: Whorager, or Star Trek: Deep Penetration 9, and there you go!
As for explicit sex in Trek, no thank you. Yeah, we all know sex is part of life, and that Gene Roddenberry was a world class pervert, but no.
It’s not like there’s a dire lack of flesh on TV these days, if anything most entertainment has gotten the porn treatment already.
Ever or in Star Trek?Things no normal fans of ST want to see:
-Oral sex of any kind of Star Trek.
-Full frontal nudity
-Any other kind of copulation
I mean, they are setting up the Tyler/Burnham relationship. It could be how she outs him as a Klingon if he has the, um, wrong number of organs.
