We are Legion (We Are Bob) by Dennis E Taylor. I listened to the Bobiverse trilogy as audiobooks and loved them so much that I had to have them on my shelves.
Bob Johansson dies shortly after paying to have his head cryogenically frozen. He wakes up over 100 years later and finds out he is a computer program destined to be put into a interstellar probe. As war breaks out on Earth, Bob escapes into space. He clones copies of himself (the copies all take new names), creates new probes an all the Bobs head out to explore space.
