Honestly I wonder if we even see a real difference between the universes.Great. This show was not bleak and violent enough.

The MU on DS9 just turned into an excuse for the cast to show its acting range. DS9, VOY, and to a lesser extent ENT all did this - have the characters "possessed" or undergoing some sort of mental trauma to showcase that even though they were written very narrowly, they actually had incredible acting ranges man!
Oh, and TNG did this too with Brent Spiner, between giving him the Lore character, Dr. Soong, and all the "weird" episodes like Masks. I don't remember them really doing it for anyone else on the cast however.
In the Mirror Universe, Landry conducts classes in basket weaving and mindfulness meditation.Honestly I wonder if we even see a real difference between the universes.
Nice, I'm looking forward to seeing the Starfleet version of Discovery's crew.
A shark skull would have been the badassedest.Though I don't like how they changed the MACO logo to a skull.
Was a Shark not badass enough for the MU?

So is Mirror Discovery all puppies and rainbows and everyone is proverbial Tom Hanks?
But, Bill, they're both Asian!

It was explained in the novel, Mirror Mirror happened the same, Mirror Spock was killed before he could do anything.
Are you referring to Dark Mirror? In that continuity, Spock wasn't killed, he just decided not to reform the Empire.
Why would the Mirror universe have a starship named Discovery?
Why, despite a point of departure starting way back in the 20th century, are there "evil" versions of characters from the 24th century running around?

The average man has 100 million sperm per ejaculate, so even the slightest alteration to history (like a woman sleeping on her right versus left side) would lead to another individual being born.

^ No, Spock survived there too. The only MU continuity (that I'm aware of) where he dies, is Dark Passions.
