Wanna guess something about Discovery? Don't want to start a whole thread about it? You've come to the right place! I'm going first... Captain Georgiou is alive. The Klingons revived her and she's their captive. Micheal isn't going to take the news well.
Hmmm. That guard with the black badge in 'Context...', he was guarding a captured Klingon prisoner behind that door.
I too suspect that this is the case. Leaving back the body was really conspicuous. At least they're leaving the door open in case they want to bring her back.
Captain Lorca was in the same Starfleet graduation class as Garth of Izar, Captain Ronald Tracey, Captain R.M. Merik, Commodore Matt Decker, High Commissioner Ferris and Admiral Alexander Marcus.* * (And I don’t care if they weren’t all in Starfleet or if the dates/years don’t match up.)
Tribbles are a form of biological warfare, Harry Mudd will show up as an arms dealer . The Discovery is a Section 31 ship and the series will explore the boots and underbelly of the Utopian state.
The Natalie Dormer wanna be who was the Shinzhou's helm officer and is now aboard the Discovery is actually Captain Ronald Tracy. The spore drive technology changes her. Significantly.
There will be an actual Gorn in the show. Cos that's a pretty expensive skeleton prop just to look pretty in the background.
The Discovery will be at the centre of the second mutiny in Star Fleet after the crew become polarised over whether the ship is referred to The Discovery, or just Discovery, and both factions seek to unseat Lorca, who isn't arsed either way. I'll get me coat.
Some more speculation ... Lorca takes the Discovery into the Mirror universe to steal technology to use in the war, a reverse of what happened in that mirror DS9 episode.
Ash Tyler will rip away his face during at the end of his first appearance to reveal his infact Tom Cruise on rarther impossible mission...Oh and that he is a Klingon spy!
Spoiler The producers just confirmed Michelle Yeoh is returning in future episodes. http://www.tvguide.com/news/star-tr...?rss=breakingnews&partnerid=imdb&profileid=01[NC]
The majority of the show takes place in the mirror universe, including the first three episodes that we've seen so far. This is to be revealed when the ship goes into the mirror universe and it's actually bright and normal.
