Everyday passing by I think over and over again about the Worf line on "Tribblies and tribbliations" ...about a Tribbles plague that almost consumed the klingons resources at that point of the historic line.
Everyday I believe that this could be the "event" referred to by Bryan Fuller.

And ...obviously all the evidence has to be eliminated ...so therefore we (and the history books) never will know about the events aboard the Discovery.
War is a very sad thing in the wrong hands.

I doubt it. He said it was a line from TOS.

Tribbles and Tribbliations occurred on the K7 at Kirk's Time.

Oh man, this would even be more stupid than turning Worf's line about them not talking about the cosmetic change of the Klingons into a two-episode fanwank fest. I hope this is not what Star Trek is going to be about from now on: Taking funny Worf one-liners way too seriously and turning them into plot points. What's next? He also famously said “I am NOT a merry man!” – when will we see an episode where they explain how Klingons genetically mutated into not being merry anymore?

Yeah, that's one of my problems of Discovery:
It takes itself super serious. The war with the klingons is gritty. People get drafted. People die. A lot. Everyone takes sacrifices, and people get scarred for their lifes.

And then there's this tribble stitting around. And we all know: This furry thing right there could defeat the klingons. And they don't use it, because it's just a wink at the fans. And the entire seriousness of the conflict comes crashing down, falling apart.

I'm sorry. This just diminishes a lot of the atmosphere for me. Something that intends to be serious unwillingly turns goofy. Not by showing us a cute alien from the 60s. But because the backstory of this little thing renders the entire klingon conflict, the main conflict of the series so far, into a funny in-joke paradoxon. Ugh.

Regarding that picture of the Andorian antennae... are we sure it's Andorian and not another species that has a similar feature?

The beauty reveal of the ship nearly changed my mind (it's a blockbuster moment), but I can't get over the star drive section. Maybe in a few episodes I'll be swayed to your opinion.

After all, The Defiant was a turtle and Voyager a shovel; maybe a pizza cutter isn't so bad. :-)

Well we know the Tribble apocalypse does happen in the not so distant future and the Klingons thought it was a very big deal at the time.

It could certainly distract them for a while.

One of the holographic Klingons looked to have some kind of antennae. You have to look close, but they are there.

 Oh, I'm sure there's a whole fandom just waiting for that episode to arrive. It's like one of those internet rules.

This feels more like a six-part IDW comic written by Mike Johnson.

Wait, wait. They think Andorians are filthy, more animals than Telleraites, but they *will* conceive children with them who serve in one of the 24 Houses?

Oh, that must have been an awkward relationship.

Is there speculation that we'll see Klaang in this series?
