Me too. Then I will also know how to visualize everything.I'm waiting with this one untill I've seen atleast the first episode of Discovery, and see what I feel about the characters. If I want to invest into getting to know their background.
I can't stand it. Been waiting for days for the Discovery book (I do reviews). There's a package at my door today. AT LAST! No...it's the David R. George book, which comes out the same day. *head-desk!*
This one is definitely looking to be held til pick up day. I found several stores around the Dallas area saying they have it but then says will be available for pick up September 26
With this tying into the show as cloesly as it does, I'm not surprised they're holding it back until after the premiere. Especially since it does apparently have some minor spoilers for The Vulcan Hello.Seems like this one gets the Harry Potter treatment:
I know of at least one person who has a copy and is already reading it. I don’t know how they got their hands on it, it may have been a promotional copy since they host a certain popular Treklit podcast.
That fits well with my timelineThe events in the book happen in May 2255. One year before the Shenzhou Mission to the Binary Stars and one year after the Enterprise's Talos IV Mission.

tradeIs this the same size as most of the other Trek books, or is it trade size? The images look trade size to me.
