I think Shran had most of the best ones........"Tell Archer that's *two* he owes me!" .............." If it involves killing Tellarites, I'm all for it."

Hard to go wrong with Shran. He's quite a guy.

With regards to the Enterprise photos - I love them! I believe that the NX-01 is probably the closest thing to how our scientists would have built the ship. She has the look of a Navy carrier in a way and the power of the Saturn 5 Rocket ship (if you saw and heard that takeoff - you know what I mean) She's a beautiful lady and I'm glad Captain Archer was able to get her home in the final episode!
One favorite scene I did like was when Cmdr. Tucker came into the room after the baby died and cried his eyes out while telling T'Pol that some dignitaries wanted to attend the funeral. Connor Trinneer explained that at the Con. He said that right around that time he found out he was about to be a father and having to play a man who lost his 'child' hit him and he started crying. He wasn't allowed to tell anyone about the coming birth but he did tell Jolene because she saw he was upset and when she asked him why he told her that 'we're having a baby' and she said, "What? You and me?" He then told her his wife was having a baby and this sudden news combined with the episode made him cry. Yep, Charles Tucker was a big softie!

    In no particular order:

The scene in "Hatchery " when Trip had to shoot Archer. The look on his face before him was like "are you for REAL? "

The scene in "Azati Prime" when Archer gives the order to obliterate the Xindi outpost. The looks on everyone's faces , like "Shit just got real !" (As far as war goes)

The scene with Trip and Malcolm on the Romulan ship where Malcolm has his phase pistol overheat..he tells Trip "you're good at building things, I'm good at blowing them up!"

In Zero Hour when Malcolm swings down and knocks that Xindi into the abyss of the weapon. RIP to the poor MACO! (I think it was Ramirez?) Also, Malcolm's visceral reaction to the loss of Hawkins on the sphere. It was a very real reaction.

Yes, I liked those scenes too and so many more. Like the scene where T'pol goes naked to Trip. Or the one when Malcolm gets propositioned by an alien woman visiting the ship in the main cannon alcove. He actually bumps his head in surprise when she told him she wanted to be with him LOL!

I never caught that the first time watching the series but in my recent rewatch of random episodes I caught that. It was a funny scene. She literally asked to sleep with him.

Mind you the woman was bloody beautiful, even with the funny makeup on.

Yeah, and the look on his face - PRICELESS!! He was shocked that she asked him instead of him asking her 'after dinner'! Well, I'm watching now and the next epi is called "Extinction". They are looking for the Xindi and are already in the "Expanse" part of space. It's getting down and dirty now! Archer threw an alien in the airlock and almost killed him last night. Let's see what happens now!

Most of the time I hated Commander Dolim and couldn't wait to see him die (I'm guessing this was intentional  ) but I did like this one line he had - can't remember the episode...

    "Patience is for the dead."

I can't find a YouTube clip of it, and that's really too bad, but in the episode In A Mirror Darkly, when Admiral Black refuses to give command of the Defiant to Archer, he "relieves" Admiral Black of duty, so to speak.

It is, perhaps, the best complete and total disintegration death by phaser scene I have ever seen. I put together a couple of still images I found, but it's not the same as the whole scene.

    That's a hell of a weapon.

And it's just a normal type 2 phaser - set on kill, of course. Only the special effect is new. Those suckers can always kill like that, and we must assume, they have. It just didn't look so gruesome before (but it must have been since it's the same weapon).

Ship's phasers and old style lasers are in here, too, but a few good examples of the same type 2 phaser kill shot.

Even a single blast or two of the ship's phaser can destroy an unshielded ship. Powerful things.

But as men of peace, we do prefer the stun setting (about 3:20 in).

Hey, wow. I found it. Admiral Black's "retirement" is in this clip.

I guess some other ones were almost as good, but the ruthless way Archer took out the admiral was quite good.

I loved the bit when Hoshi was being coerced into unlocking the encryption on the Xindi weapon, and instead added another layer of encryption then tried to kill herself.

It was the first time I believed any of the main characters were willing to die for what they believed in.

Yes...which is why I liked Hoshi as a character. She actual had an "arc" of growth. Remember how scared and timid she was when she started? Then it turned out that she had great inner strength.

Reminds me also of Terra Prime when she was in charge of the ship and stood her ground, waiting until the last possible second before she fired on Mars.

And actually, I believe Malcolm was willing to die, on more than one occasion. But, he seemed to have more of a "death wish " than Hoshi.

I think that Malcolm was willing to die for his Captain, crewmates or ship as Chief of Security but as for a 'death wish' I don't think so. The only reason would be that he didn't want to live alone the rest of his life. He also had a fear of drowning which is why he joined StarFleet so why would he want to die? If he had not been there on Enterprise, they wouldn't have had the "Reed Alert" or the stun added to the phasers. He's always been ready to help and even helped Tucker many times which shows HE could've become an engineer too. Makes you wonder what he did do after they returned to Earth permanently.
