I've been biting my tongue lo, all these weeks reading everybody's theories about Arya, Sansa and Littlefinger. So glad it's finally out in the open.
So it is about Dany & Jon. or just Jon who is both Wolf and Dragon
That being said, I'm not really sure what was the point of having Brienne and Podrick there other than to have the requisite reunions, and further, where are they going now?
And, did you notice the split between Jaime and Cersei? The one you denied that could ever happen? It's ok--it's a tough show to predict! It's best to not be too definite about predictions when it comes to Game of Thrones! This finale was awesome for many reasons, chief amongst them being that Littlefinger is FINALLY DEAD. Game of Thrones has finally made me as happy as a pig in sh*t by killing off the one character they've NEEDED to kill off for the past 5 seasons, and in spectacularly awesome fashion.
I think the information they are about to learn will throw a kink into their relationship!Aegon the Eighth's claim to the succession of the Iron Throne might legally supercede Dany's, but I doubt he'll actually take the crown, especially since they're now together and are most probably going to remain so until series' end. We'll likely see her rule as Danaerys I with him as her "Nephew-Husband" and "King-Consort", either under his real name or the name he's gone by his entire life.
Um . . . No. Unless you were watching a different show than I was. He left her. He made up his mind that he could no longer live with her shit, and left. Very clear.I knew that Jaime wouldn't turn his back on Cersei by betraying her, and I was right; although he's headed North without her, SHE's the one who pushed him away.
Their relationship is kinky enough as it is.I think the information they are about to learn will throw a kink into their relationship!
Reading up on the current situation with the hurricane in Texas (and Katrina In New Orleans way back) it's par for the course.. you can tell people for weeks and months that a disaster is coming and they will either not believe you or are stubborn and won't leave their home (even if there's nothing they can do to protect it once nature starts to roll the dice).
So now there are thousands trapped in their homes and rescue services are strained to get to them all before their lives are truly endangered all because they didn't want to leave (and also endangering the lives of their rescuers).
People are stupid.
^^^ Thoughts and prayers are with you and yours. Hope everyone you know is safe!Okay, as someone who is in Houston right now, I can't let this go. People did leave Houston before Rita hit. Millions on the road, traffic for 50-100 miles long, not only on every major highway out of the city, but on every backroad as well. People died in their cars and every major freeway was a parking lot. Don't ever compare the evacuation of a major American city of four and half million people with the paltry amount of people in Winterfell not taking precautions.
What the evacuation of a major American city looks like (this is Photobucket so I don't know if they'll show up)

Rita was over a decade ago and people here still remember this nightmare traffic like it was yesterday. Keep in mind that you are only seeing a sliver of one highway out of town and both sides of the freeway are being used. I managed to get out of Houston on a back road and a four hour trip to Dallas took over twelve hours. I was lucky. This traffic went from one side of Houston to the other and a good portion of the way to Dallas, 200 miles away. Damned if you do, damned if you don't. The one useful thing about this is that it showed what would happen if a major American city needed to be quickly evacuated. Hint: you're screwed.
Also, as a native Houstonian who is in Houston right now, and who has friends and family facing a life threatening event, catastrophic flooding and an uncertain future after it's all said and done, I'll thank you to keep your comments about this city and it's people to yourself.
Apologies to all for this detour.
We now return to our Game Of Thrones thread which is already in progress.....

The whole Sansa/Arya conflict seems kind of odd. It could be they are turning the table on littlefinger and are just pretendting to be adverserial. I expect littlefinger to be added to Arya's list.

I knew that Jaime wouldn't turn his back on Cersei by betraying her, and I was right; although he's headed North without her, SHE's the one who pushed him away.
Cersei lied to him and forced him into a corner; she also nearly killed him. She was the catalyst for the dissolution of their seemingly unbreakable bond, not him.
And since I specifically denied that HE would betray HER, I was completely right.
