I love Han Solo, but I'm not wild about this movie. I always thought Han spent his life up to ANH in the grimy smuggler rat race, and ANH is the point where his life finds a higher purpose for the first time.
The only way I see his character arc working is if he starts the movie not jaded, and ends the movie as the jaded Han we see in ANH. But I personally don't care about that arc ymmv.Who says this won't show that?
Who says this won't show that?
Ten yearsHave they said how long before ANH this one takes place?
Loth-cat years, or Coruscant years?Ten years
Loth-cat years, or Coruscant years?
I'm pretty sure there are other things they could do with him besides that.
That's really funny coming from you, after you dismissed Civil War and Homecoming out of hand months before they were released. Why are people making assumptions about the quality of this movie, especially since the production has not been finished? Why not hold any judgment until after the movie is released? It seemed as if many people are determined that this film will fail.
Given that Star Wars was retitled into Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope after its release, based on precedent I'm gonna have to say that you're probably right.Yeah. At some point between now and it's release.
