Okay. This is a new one to me,
"That gap – the deficit between income and expenses – was funded...........loans made by other individuals who" wish to remain secret.
Has anyone else heard this before and I just missed it?
And actually it is just another variation of the recurring trope I've seen frequently used during thiswholething:
'This is gonna be big but we can't talk about it',
'this actor wants to but we can't talk about it yet'
'that actor wants to but we can't say yet'
'all these people we meet want to work on it but we can't tell you who they are yet'
'there are film productions ready but we can't say which one yet'
'somebody but we can't talk about it'
'something but we can't say'
'some group but we can't tell you who'
'some big new stuff but we can't talk about it.'
The thing is I use to keep a list of the 'we can't talk about it yet', 'we can tell you yet', 'we can't tell you because they said so'
I 'think' I remembering correctly that out of the 17 or so on it I'd found only confirmation of two ever came to happened. I'd found documentation that two of them were outright false. Documentation where he says it was said 'somebody else' fault. And the rest of them were just never mentioned again. Just faded away.......
The Boy Who Cried Wolf.
All I'm seeing at this time is just another change in narrative to fit the new version.
-the special shipping company 'we found' ---- but well, okay, it's mine after all.
-"Prelude to Ax’d-We-Are is a love letter to this amazing fan production" (on his website written by one of his bloggers & credited co-writer/voice actor) -------to which Mr. Largent, the
creator of the film came here to this Thread to give his version. He liked Prelude, he wanted to do something relevant to current culture, he intentionally made it so it could be viewed from either perspective as being on their side because he wanted to reach as big an audience as possible, and that "I'm in it for the laughs."
-"We intend to turn this warehouse and office space into a fully functional sound stage. This will allow us to not only make “Axanar” but other Star Trek projects after Axanar and other Sci-Fi projects. (Robert Burnett and I have already acquired the rights to a fantastic book series by David Gerrold.)" ---- but later "Would we like to make movies after Axanar? Sure would, but that is all speculative"
-'It isn't a fan film. If you want to see a fan film go watch one of theirs' ------- but, and immediately, after being served with a lawsuit 'It's a fan film. It's always been a fan film'
This one is outstanding:
March 27, 2017: "The amazing thing about Axanar is how universally loved it is by Star Trek fans"
----- but, well, no, it is Not universally loved by Star Trek fans is it. That is precisely what this year+ long hubbub has demonstrated over and over... and over again.
It is beyond dispute, unequivocally, irrefutably, and repeatedly documented that Axanar is 'Not' universally loved by Star Trek fans.
