Who's writing this junk? The Grand Inquisitor is gone, Vader has lead no efforts -- they've just had encounters with him, and Thrawn hasn't employed his best efforts yet -- he's been waiting for them to reveal themselves.
It's almost as if it was written for children, no?

Can somebody tell me how exactly that ending worked? How did all these rebel ships know where to go? If they all had the secret location of Dantooine, how in the world did they mamage to keep it a secret? And how come they all knew but the Ghost crew didn't? Mon had to show they how to get there in this eisode.
Well given Bail was the one who had people meet Mon's escort to refuel, I imagine he also knew about Dantooine. If I had to guess I'd say he had a separate message delivered to the leaders of a handful of trusted cells. Just a set of coordinates and a request for them to keep an eye on the holonet in the coming days. Them showing up was a demonstration of their willingness to unite following Mothma's speech.
Don't discount the impact of such theatrics, such things are mythmaking and can greatly amplify the message down the line. Also, it was important that the declaration be a very public one, to let the whole galaxy know that they're not alone and that someone is standing up in defiance of tyranny.
