Spoilers The Flash - Season 3

This is just too big of a science fiction concept for me. I can't function without coffee regardless of the amount of sleep I've had, how they get anything done on Earth-19 is beyond me

Freudian slip? :p

Yeah, there's no coffee, but Starbucks, located on almost every every corner (like our Earth) has cocaine and cocaine products.

Two different characters with different motivations. Lois is an inherently bold character to begin with, but Iris usually plays it safe. Because she thinks she might die in a few months, Iris does the irrational by risking her own life so she could write a juicy article and leave her mark in the world. I figured the writers had to come up with something for the West siblings to do during the course of the episode. That said, I feel I haven't seen much of Caitlyn. I'd like to see the relationship dynamic between her and new member Malfoy.
Iris has "played it safe" because she's been conditioned to. Over the years, I think her dad has shot some things down...definitely when she went to the police academy...he shot down her risk taking there. If she wanted to go out of state and/or major in something a little "abnormal", I am sure her dad made excuses for that to (like money), so that's why when we met her, she was still taking elective (presumably undergraduate) courses and working at Jitters.

With the whole potential death thing...and paralleling with James Olsen on SUpergirl, I can she her willing to do some crazy stuff, just to prove her worth.

But I also think you're right in that the writers also used this as an excuse for the West siblings to work together r(which I think they do pretty well -- very believable as brother & sister, even though they didn't know about each other until a few months ago)

(And they all, a Legion of Jessie Quicks, agree to share Earth 1 Wally.)

But Jeese's not an orphan.

And she's not Black ;)

And of course Iris' arm was frozen but it'll be fine.

I was also thinking about Jesse finding out that Wally has powers and the excitement they'd share. Then we get that hook.

Can't wait for next week.

Aw, man... I know it wasn't "my" Julio Mendez, but it's safe to assume that he was a doppelganger thereof, so it was still pretty sad to see him go.

This one was a bit weird. If Yorkin was one of the Flashpoint metas Dr. Alchemy empowered, why did he wait so long to avenge himself on the cops who arrested him? And how can Joe's girlfriend's daughter "miss" Kid Flash when he's only been around for a couple of weeks?

And why exactly did Iris tell Joe about the future anyway? Well, I guess his life being in danger made her want to come clean, but it did seem a little out of the blue.

Barry phasing the whole train was cool, but I have to wonder why he didn't just phase the much smaller pile of rubble.

True...maybe on Earth-3, he and Jay are old work buddies....

Oh, that would be neat.

And of course Iris' arm was frozen but it'll be fine.

There was dialogue about Caitlin having to maintain the right temperature balance that would slow the decay without damaging her nerve endings. I guess that's why they needed her cryokinesis instead of just running out for some bags of ice or something.

How did Yorkin get out ahead of the train when he was at the station when it left?

It was getting ready to leave, but I don't think it left at just that moment. And maybe the train makes a few local stops before it gets onto the express track, or something, so he had time to drive ahead.

Although... If everything Yorkin touches decays... How can he wear clothes, let alone drive a car, open a door, etc.? How could he eat? I guess he must be able to use his powers selectively.

He didn't seem to use a car...he just dramatically appeared wherever he needed to be, standing there like he'd been there waiting.

Got an explanation for how he seemingly disappeared a few seconds after Kid Flash knocked him out of Jitters, even though there were two speedsters on the scene? How far could he have gotten in that time that they couldn't have caught up with him?

He had Plot Teleportation.

Barry phasing the whole train was cool, but I have to wonder why he didn't just phase the much smaller pile of rubble.

It's a loose pile of rubble, which would make it more difficult to vibrate all the pieces at once. It's certainly possible to do so, but you would probably end up with a lot more wasted energy.

Of course, neither solution is particularly safe. A short section of missing train tracks probably would have created a disaster regardless of which object (or group of objects) was vibrating.

This was a pretty good episode. the villain and the final confrontation with him was weak, but the other stuff was pretty good. It feels like this was the 1000th time the characters have sworn to stop keeping secrets  I like how Julian has become a more likeable character, and his relationship with Snow is interesting.

I'm really excited for next week. Earth 2, Harrison Wells, Gorilla Grodd and Gorilla City? Stuff like this is one of the reasons Flash is the best superhero show on tv.

Although... If everything Yorkin touches decays... How can he wear clothes, let alone drive a car, open a door, etc.? How could he eat? I guess he must be able to use his powers selectively.

This. Even bullets decayed upon contact. How could he not be walking around naked?!

I liked the encouragement Julian gave Caitlyn when she was starting to lose control. The guy's got a heart after all.

Woohoo! One nation under Grodd! Can't wait.

This episode was pretty good but that ending. Jesse's back and we're going to DC's planet of the apes. I can't wait. Sucks it's two weeks though.

^ Two weeks. Attack on Gorilla City airs February 21.

I hate when channels do that. I get mid-season breaks, but taking random weeks off, when there doesn't seem to be any events that would act as competition, is annoying. Well, it seems like its an episode that is definitely worth the wait.
