I've never understood the leaving flowers thing. Why do people do that? I meant specifically for people you've never met.

If that seems heartless, I do have a lower emotional range than the average person. I'm not heartless I just don't have the emotional highs or the lows. My best friend told me he has cancer last week and my reaction was basically "well, that sucks". I can't imagine getting emotional about people I don't know and I find it quite strange. I don't get it.
