Another 'Above Average' from me and a pretty good end to the series. I feel like there was a lot of retread in the novel, but it was still enjoyable. I'm definitely going to squeeze some more TOS books into my schedule next year. It's been fun reconneting with Kirk & Spock.
My main concern with this trilogy is that my favorite parts (Una and the Jatohr) were minimized for mutinies on Klingon and Romulan ships. I though Number One was going to be as important as Erika Hernandez was to Destiny, but that never ended up being the case.
Sounds like the most insane game ever. Calvinball™ would probably seem a lot more sane, orderly, and structured by comparison.(This being the 50th Anniversary, we were trying to touch a lot of bases: April, "The Cage," Klingons, Romulans, the Organian Peace Treaty, Sarek and Amanda, Joanna, etc.)

I was the one who kinda got carried away and made Una such a big deal in Book One.
