Booster Gold's movie will not be part of the DCEU. I wonder if he had the opportunity if Berlanti would make it part of the Arrowverse.
Would it be too confusing for the non comic book fans to have two separate continuities in the movies at the same time? We've got at least two TV universes right now, the Arrowverse and Gotham, so obviously people are able to accept two unconnected universes on TV.

Between this and Shazam, I'm starting to wonder if WB is looking for some kind of backup if their shared universe doesn't perform the way they want.

I think you're reading too much into this, smaller off-beat comic book movies seem to hit the crowds well(Deadpool and Suicide Squad both preformed very well this year), and they're just naturally looking to get in on that.
Also, he began that sentence with "As of right now...", since the movie is still very early in the development process that is obviously subject to change.
Joe Manganiello has been cast as Deathstroke. I liked him in True Blood and he's a good fit for the character, so I'm happy with this.
I only know him as Flash Thompson from the Raimi Spider-Man movies.
Next thing you'll be telling us will be something far-fetched such as, oh I don't know, that perhaps you know J.K. Simmons, the new James Gordon, only as J. Jonah Jameson from the Raimi Spider-Man movies.![]()

He's very funny as a lawyer who makes trouble for Marshall, as I recall.Who was Manganiello in HIMYM? I don't remember him at all from Raimi's Spider-Man, and that would be the only other place I've seen him.
Why would it be far-fetched that I'm not that familiar with Manganiello?
It's not far-fetched that you're not familiar with Manganiello. I'm not that familiar with Manganiello! The (failed) joke I tried to make was that Affleck's Batman movie now has 2 actors from Sam Raimi's Spider-Man films. I wonder if there will be a 3rd. Perhaps Thomas Haden Church as Roman Sionis? Or Elizabeth Banks as… she'll be great in anything really!![]()
