Humor; a difficult concept AmIRite? Another part of the joke is the disingenuity of the "no dog" assertion in general, where any of this is concerned. In fan films, we're all Kevin Bacon.
Honestly I have no idea what this about. You seem to have some type of animosity toward me but I can't imagine why. I don't believe we know each other; the only connection I can see between us is that we both have projects in development with NEO f/x. Other than that, I don't understand what I could've possibly done to you to warrant insults. Very weird, frankly.
Yay! The picture posted of the guy with the walk-on role surely had something to do with it? http://stcontinues.tumblr.com/post/142652222860/glenn-iverson-one-of-our-awesome-backers-during Also, the pillows are gone now. Happy that I snatched one.
Oh God, someone stop me... now I have added a script to my pile. A real used one. One thing is sure - they know how to make you go back to your pocket to look if there is still something in there Also, donations may not be as overwhelming as they used to be, but they are still steadily coming in. Instead of just everyone jumping in at the beginning and that's it.
Yeah, I peeked. A walk on role by a professional actor-not too bad.. Maybe it will be more than a "walk on".
It's 35% of goal right now. From another perspective, though, it's already over 57% of what Kirkstarter 2.0 raised.
Yeah, it sucks that the current campaign is underperforming, in terms of the set goal, but you can't be too sad about what they've gotten thus far. We'll get more episodes, just not the full balance of the 13 expected. Not yet, anyways.
Agreed on Gross. In both Mindsifter and especially in Holiest Thing he's the weak spot of the episodes, which is just deadly for the lead. He's a drag on the whole production. Unlike James Cawley, this guy simply has ZERO charisma, and no presence or gravitas. He comes off as very wooden and bland and diminishes every scene he's in and it's just not fair to the others in the scene.. Mr. Cawley, Mr. Schnitzer PLEASE consider recasting Kirk. Your series is too good for this lackluster performance. BTW, I think Jeff Bond just hits it out of the park as Bones! Can't wait to see him in the next ep.
I expect a surge toward the end but realistically it would be lucky to make 200K total at this point. Hopefully extending the campaign until after EP6 premiers will add another 100K assuming its one of their best which it might be. The the new engine room will make its debut. i have high hopes for this episode. The cast seems to get better with each episode.
The Indiegogo page says 20 days left (as of today April 14). If it was extended, that's not yet reflected on the Indiegogo page. If it was indeed extended to the end of May, then they are 36% of the way to the goal after having only 45% of the campaign time elapsed, not 64% of the time.
If it is or could be extended to the end of May that would give them a better chance. At their present rate they could conceivably reach $275,000-300,000. And if they could get a good surge at the end then maybe they could reach the $350,000 target. I think extending the drive to just after the Ep. 6 premiere could be worth it. From there it might be possible to have just one more drive to complete the 13 episode run.
