I've never been in love.
I did a little research, and the Dodger dog has a lot of haters, so I skipped it. I don't eat much at ballgames anyway, so I just had the garlic fries, which people were raving about. They were very good, and very garlic-y, so that was a win. Wash it down with a beer, and I was happy.
I have never eaten a Primanti Brothers sandwich.
I visited Pittsburgh a few years ago for some games at PNC Park but I didn't have the courage to try that sandwich. Maybe next time...

Yep. Still, if you don't believe me, look up a man named Guy Fieri, who is famous for his food, and read the reviews his restaurants get.
I'm still not getting you. So this guy has a bunch of restaurants, no I'm not looking up the reviews give me a snapshot 
He's been on tv and won some awards? The sandwiches in question won a James Beard award. I looked at pics of the sandwiches and they look like very tall american sandwiches, I would assume an award winning popular american sandwich would be delicious or at the very least not something one needs courage to eat.

His restaurants generally get poor reviews because the food, while sounding delicious, and seemingly looking delicious, generally tastes awful. Everything is put into presentation, and little is put into the actual taste of the food itself. I have had some sandwiches that have tasted truly nasty.I'm still not getting you. Okay. But these sandwiches are famous in that city. It sounds like you are saying lots of stuff sucks even though it has a good reputation? SO much so that one must have courage to venture out of one's familiar food routine?
Primanti Bros. is...well, picture a sandwich with every topping in the entire world on it. Then you're close.
This is what I want. Rare roast beef, red cabbage coleslaw, thick layers of crisp lettuce. On Rye, with seeds.

Keep in mind that what I'm saying is all pretty firmly tongue-in-cheek.
Still, I have had "famous" sandwiches that have tasted nothing short of dreadful, so I am wary when someone wants me to try one. That may come down to my tastes, though. For example, I find the idea of a pickled beet on a burger (from our previous conversations) to be a delicious one. I mentioned the idea to several American friends, and none of them thought it at all appealing.
Then again, when it comes to veggies, I'm adventurous. Meat? Eh, I'm far more picky, and cautious.

These are the same people who will eat a hamburger with mayonnaise, while enjoying fries, but object to the idea of dipping mayo with their fries.
Mayo on fries is great. Here you get aioli with fries which is garlic mayo.
But I am going to tell you the GREATEST thing to do with fries when you are in fast food land. This is a special piece of information I only share with my friends. You dip them in the chocolate shake. JUST DO IT.. you won't believe how good it is. How incredibly good.

It is good, I've tried it!
I don't know if there is a Wendy's where you live, but if there is, you have to go there, buy their sea salt fries, and a Frosty. You will never go back to regular mayo or ketchup.
