Things I Haven't Done

I got an inkling around age six when I helped my dad steal cable TV: he needed my little arms to reach into the space between the roofs of the duplexes and reach the wires.

I've come to think of myself as a special kind of cultured.
It's wonderful when your dad teaches you a trade. Mine taught me how to get electricity from the neighbors!

Go on a grand tour of Europe.

I've been to Italy three times and to Turkey once. I was going to go to Poland this year but decided to put that off for a while.

Yeah if you can go overseas do it. It's totally worth it.

Blew up? What place was this?
The best place!

I lived around the corner from it my freshman year at NYU, so you can imagine I have a lot of fond memories of greasy snacks after long nights of underage drinking at that place.

I was about 3 blocks away when it happened. It was a freaky day.

Two young men died, sadly. The city's investigating it as a homicide, last I heard. Illegal construction and landlords tapping into other people's gas lines were the apparent cause.

- Make my own tv show. I have several scripts sitting on my computer doing nothing.

- Travel to Iceland / Norway / Canada etc and view the Aurora Borealis with my own eyes.

- Skydive.

- Visit a few more places around the world and in New Zealand.

- Get into photography more.

I'll think of others after I hit post. I just know it.

Well then you're one of my American friends who loves it! :D
I do like it, though I had to come around to it. For a while I only had ketchup with fries, but I've since branched out. I rather like thousand island dressing with fries, too.

As long as it's not the shelf-stable Best Foods/Hellman's type of weird chunky mayo in a jar.

There's another kind?

Oh yes.

CHUNKY mayo? :barf:

That's the only word I can think of to describe the weird texture of Best Foods mayo (unless they've changed it in recent years and made it better). I would certainly never want to dip fries in that.

In the absence of a classic European-style mayonnaise made from scratch, Kewpie brand from Japan is pretty good. It can be found in some Asian grocery stores.

Fired a gun which I am not planning on changing anytime soon actually.

I haven't fired a gun, either, but I would like to (at a target, not a person or animal). When I went through the correctional training academy years ago, I was excused from the weapons training part because I wasn't going to be an officer. Everyone expected me to be happy, but I was actually quite disappointed.

Other things I haven't done:
traveled to Antarctica
been drunk
been the Pope
built a house
enjoyed a baseball game
had sex with a woman
figured out how to establish world peace
(Not going to say which ones I want or don't want to do. ;) )

Wipe out humanity with a new plague that brings about the zombie apocalypse. Building the Desolator has taken far too long....soon...soon...

I know how you feel. I've been working on my weather machine for years, but it still keeps burning the popcorn.

Yeah, I gave up on weather control. I had a machine churning out CO2 and it really was working well but as a side effect it spawned a LOT of smugness.
