‘Superman & Batman’ movie will follow ‘Man of Steel’

These types of articles and journalists haven't been right about anything so far, and given the quantity of false rumors we've had, I think we should ignore them going forward.
Yes, many of these rumors are simply untrue, and there are certainly sites out there who will make stuff up or print preposterous rumors as fact. But I think there are also a lot of cases when things get reported that were true at the time, but then end up changing by the time the movie comes out.

E.g. the story about Force Awakens opening with a shot of Luke's lightsaber floating through space seems like a false report now, but it was actually in the script and parts of it were even filmed before Abrams decided to change it. If you're gonna read any news stories about upcoming movies, you're gonna have to accept that a lot of that stuff won't have anything to do with the finished product.
But as far as movie scoops go, some guys like McWeeny, Devin Faraci, and Umberto Gonzalez have a pretty decent track record, even if they can't help being wrong a lot of the time.

even if they can't help being wrong a lot of the time.

They can help it, nobody is putting a gun to their head and forcing them to print all this crap.

They can make a choice to only publish verified stories but they choose not to, because:
a) there's far less actual news on these productions to support shooting out several articles a day
b) scoop, controversy and rumor breed clicks even if it's all unsubstantiated bullshit, and clicks mean money

I mean, it's easy to blame those guys, but they're only doing it because there's demand for that.

Finally saw the trailer. What stood out for me the most was Batman. Seems to be the case with everyone else too. We have a Batman who's fighting skill goes above and beyond generic punching that anyone can do. That was a problem with Bale.

The sense I got from MOS is that this Superman isn't quite as all-powerful as in the Reeve or Routh movies. We saw him clearly struggling just to hold up a falling crane at the start of the movie, so it's doubtful he'd be able to lift, say, an entire island into space, like we saw in SR.
Are you referring to the scene on the oil rig? If so, it looked like he was losing his footing due to the crumbling structure and not so much struggling to lift anything.

Have they said she won't fly in the DCEU?

Not sure if anyone explicitly said so, but it's heavily implied.

Would be cool if she gains flight at some point though, kinda like she did in the New 52.

I wonder what it is about her flying that people don't like? That seems to be one of her comic book powers that most consistently isn't used in adaptations or new versions.

Noting the "Art of the Film" and "Tech Manual" books as well for future purchase. You might want to alert your local public libraries to at least the former volume's existence.

A computer algorithm that predicts how much money a movie will make says that BvS only stands a 32% chance of making at least $7.3 million.
I find it really hard to believe it's chances are really that bad. This movie has Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman, three of the biggest superheroes on the planet in it. I really think that no matter how good or bad it is it's going to have a huge opening, but to me the big questions is how it does after that. After the first weekend, word of mouth will start to spread, and if people don't like it then I have a feeling things will drop off quick.

I could live with it either way, but personally I don't think it's a power the character really needs to have. She's already a great Amazonian warrior so it should be enough in this movie that she can leap great distances.

Plus I can also understand why some writers may want to de-emphasize her godlike powers a bit in order to make her seem a bit more human and relatable.

That's just bizarre. Even if the movie doesn't make a billion dollars like they hope, it'll certainly make a profit and make back all it's production and promotional budget.
