‘Superman & Batman’ movie will follow ‘Man of Steel’

I have mixed feelings on this. Darkseid is a cool villain, but at the same time going for him as the big bad feels a little too similar to Marvel using Thanos. If he is the big bad here, I hope maybe it'll be a one off, or that they at least won't reuse him for Justice League. I just hope Justice League isn't going to end up being another alien invasion story.
That does appear to be the same desert from the possible dream sequence, so I do have to wonder exactly how all of this is playing out.

He won't be in this one, this is a shot from the knightmare sequence, which is likely a dream/vision. He'll probably be the villain in the Justice League films.
Anyway Justice League will come out prior to the next Avengers, so they'll beat Marvel to it, which serves them right for teasing Thanos for so long...

Maybe this is actually some kind of a possible future that Batman is seeing. It looked like he was imaginging what could happen if Superman was allowed to go out of control, but now I wonder if this is actually a possible future where Darkseid has taken over and Superman is working with him. Maybe this will be motivation for him to put bring everybody together as the Justice League
.

Well Thanos was created and modeled after Darkseid. One is pink and the other is gray. This kind of overlap is bound to happen though. It would be like if the DC movies did Brainiac, and then people saying he looks too similar to Ultron. Nothing to worry about though. The general audience more than likely has no idea who Thanos is despite him appearing in short bits for 3 Marvel movies. With JL Part 1 set to debut before Infinity War Part 1 by several months, it'll seem like Marvel is copying DC.

Right. Snyder said WW is the one who brings the JL together, so the Knightmare vision and Superman being evil could be a what-if the League doesn't unite to fight Darkseid.

Enough with the paranoia and clickbaity crap about DCEU "ruining" characters already...

The person who wrote the above article needs to go back and rewatch

Batman (1989)
Batman Returns
Batman Forever
Batman Begins
The Dark Knight
&
The Dark Knight Rises

Batman has committed a homicide in each of those movies.

As for the content and context of the producer's claims, he's likely talking about Batman taking it upon himself to stop Superman at all costs. There will be no trial, Batman already thinks Superman is guilty for what happened in MOS and feels Superman should pay with his life.

It seems to me like Batman is going to have a journey very similar to Oliver's in Arrow. The story will be about the rebirth of Batman as a super-hero.

Not bad, IMO.

Sorry, I was just trying to share all of the interviews and things I've seen online. I like to post my thoughts afterwards, but if you want me to stop I will.
The quote is taken directly from the interview, so I didn't make anything up, and the bottom part was my own opinion. I'm not meaning to upset anyone or anything, it's just that I don't really have anywhere else to discuss this kind of stuff, so I like to share what I find online and discuss it with you guys here.

There's something about Cavill's Superman that bothers me. Can't quite put my finger on it yet. But Affleck looks way much more betterer than I could have imagined, and I'm definitely on board with the voice modulation thingy. From what I've seen of Gal, so far she has my vote as Best Wonder Woman Ever.

Things can change, but right now I'm really looking forward to this movie.

I didn't mean that you shouldn't post it, sorry if it came off that way.
I just find those kind of articles annoying. They take an offhand quote, overblow it, and then feign outrage.

Kinda like the entire Internet, yeah?

Yeah it does kinda bother me a bit that the only side we've seen of Cavill's Superman in the trailers so far is the angry, pissed off side. I know some would argue that that's all we saw in MOS as well, but I never felt that way for a second, and was hoping we'd see more of the Superman who was friendly and likeable and concerned around Lois or his mom.

In fact it almost feels like Superman is more pissed off at Bruce in this movie than he was with Zod in MOS!

They're just playing up the "versus" side of BvS for trailers.
I'm sure he'll be a little less scowling in the movie.

Yep, the publicity is obviously promoting the fact that these guys are gonna fight. Therefore they spend a lot of time in publicity images scowling and growling at one another.

I never felt that way about him in MOS. The portrayal was of someone who was lost trying to find his way in the world. His purpose. He was drawn into conflict reluctantly when all he really wanted to do was to stay low and lead as normal a life as possible.

I'm sorry too, I thought that was directly entirely at me, and the stuff I said.
EDIT: The BvS Batman Barbie has been revealed, along with the packaging for the whole line. The article also has some new images of the WW doll which was revealed at SDCC. I kind of hate to admit, since they're Barbies, but their Batman and WW dolls are pretty nice. In case anyone doesn't got to the article is wondering, they are actual dolls of the characters from the movie, not just themed traditional Barbies.
EDIT: CBR has pictures of The Barbie Superman now.
