I really liked the episode, too. I like that they are keeping up with the continuity, how everything is linking together.

Eddie's character is fascinating--I love how he knows right away he's going to be shot but analyses how best to turn it into an advantage. I'm thinking that Eddie will not turn out to be the Big Bad--at least not completely--and that the blonde does indeed turn out to be a psycho.

Only time will tell.

I like where the character of Eddie Mora has gone. He reminds of some anime villains. Charismatic and attractive, but a high degree of intelligence leading them to believe they know what is best for humanity and has to protect them from themselves.

I wonder if at some point all this research into neurology will have had him discover a drug to make people docile(for their own good)

Another fun episode. I like that Bradley Cooper wasn't just a one-episode-only appearance type of guy either.

I also like how they're setting it up so that we're suspicious of both sides. This show is certainly familiar with tropes and cliches (as shown by Brian's frequent imaginations), and they're setting up the storyline so that while we can guess different ways it might go, but we really don't know how it'll end up.

I'm wondering if Piper will become Brian's 'Irene Adler' if Eddie Morra is his Moriarty - even though he's got a big crush on Rebecca, she views him as a brother/friend whereas Piper genuinely seemed to intrigue Brian and reciprocate his curiosity.

Yea, Brian needs someone on his side that knows what is going on, even if she has her own agenda. And that ending with Rebecca --- where did those -before- photos come from? Was the FBI tracking Eddie already or cop surveillance photos?

Really liked tonight's episode--the whole "scary words/fun words" thing was well-done. The "mystery of the week" plot was a bit unbelievable, though, even by "Limitless" standards and felt a bit rushed. However, I did like that they didn't abandon the main plot with Rebecca investigating Morra.

And every single time I see Terry Serpico in something, all I can think about is how much he looks like Steve McQueen (it's eerie!. However, I looked him up and they are in no way related--and no, he's not related to the guy from Pacino film, either.

And yes, the psychiatrist manipulating the persons memories tonight making him think he was a serial killer was a bit too out there.

Did Brian screw up the button on purpose? Does he want Rebecca to find out the truth about him, or does he want her to catch Senator Morra? Or does he just want to confess the truth to her?

So, Brian was able to leave the Evidence Drop-Off without the attendant wondering where he went, checking the computer or mentioning it to Rebecca and Boyle?

Oh, and I noticed a character named Nolan Bale in the end credits.

I admittedly thought Spike was going to be the person behind the theft and it was all set-up for him to get in to Brian's circle.

Maybe he's quietly been stashing a ton of cash away on the downlow, since any smart person would know that his supply of NZT isn't guaranteed to last forever.

I've been thinking the same thing from the beginning. Who couldn't use a little extra cash?

Maybe he has been stashing away money but we haven't seen any indication of that. And if his supply of NZT runs out, he'll die. And if he doesn't die, he'll wish he was dead, assuming he wasn't too brain damaged to wish for anything.

I liked the nods to Casino Royale this week - the series really does know how to have fun, it's a bit like Psych.

in the recap, they did reshow ike taking about his sister so I had a feeling as well. I like how they keep doing different things per episode, keeps it fun. I wonder if this is a way to keeps costs low or on budget? I guess filming Sands background IRL would have been expensive.

edit: also nice reminder that the FBI can actually solve cases without Brian.

Me, too. I still liked it, though. I like the character of Jason/Ike.

I thought this was a pretty good episode; I liked the director-references (especially the themed music) and the look into Sands' background. The animation was a nice way to mix things up. It's also nice to see the FBI not looking like total idiots for a change. Compare this team to the one on The Blacklist, for instance. The show that's more of a comedy is the one that has the more believable--and more professional--investigators.
