Spoilers Limitless - TV Series

He's her NZT buddy, but she's not getting the cure, so he's all sad about having to watch her go crazy and die when he can probably hook her up if he hustled.

Liked this week's episode--lots going on--lots of little jokes and enough drama to keep it interesting.

The Schoolgirl Reaper pinball game was a nice touch.

I loved the homage to The Abyss at the end. :guffaw: This was a wacky ep. aside from the scenes with Brian's dad it was alittle to believe they could take down the top ten list in one ep., it should've been a two parter. But I've always liked Brian's Walter Mitty styled fantasies, I loved seeing Mike and Ike at the end. And they've adopted Mike and Ike as the names of the two of them, even though it's not their real names.

Not a bad episode, it fell a little flat towards the middle, but the movie poster montage at the end made up for it.

I loved the hoage to The Abyss at the end.
Ah, thanks, I totally didn't connect that reference, but now that I know, I suddenly love it.

Fun episode, but almost a bit too fun. Here they are taking down the worst of the worst, and it's all fun and games. How in the world hasn't he solved every crime ever by now?

I don't mind a little quirk here and there or the occasional light-hearted fun episode, but I don't want this show to become a full-on goofball comedy.

Are we going to explore the implications of them giving someone other than Brian the NZT this week? How soon does withdrawal become deadly?

^Did they ever make it clear how many doses you have to take before withdrawal kicks in? I can't remember. I would assume it's more than one.

I really like how the show balances the threat (the senator, the drug, the bad guys) with the just plain goofiness. It makes it more interesting.

It also makes sense, since Brian is a goofball, we see things from his perspective. He's immature, sarcastic, and has a wild imagination. As long as the show isn't wildly goofy all the time, it should at least keep it more interesting than all the boring "procedurals" already out there.

Well Brian solvedthe crime but he was alittle late, although I don't understand the motive of why the guy killed his wife. Although while I didn't like how Brian's tried to interfer in his life, this does sit up some interesting possibilities.

^Very much so. I loved how protective he is of his son but the idea of having him declared incompetent raises a lot very interesting potential problems. I expect Bradley Cooper's character--or at least his henchman--to show up soon.

If Dad does take things to trial:
Do you think the FBI and Morra will get NZT a national security matter so that it can't be discussed in open court?
I think Dad will find Brian on NZT a very capable lawyer.
