I thought the ratings weren't that bad. Maybe it was "underperforming", (like Supergirl supposedly was). This means not doing as well as a hypothetical show that exists only in the mind of a network exec.

Limitless was getting CBS Friday level ratings (1.1) near the end of its run when it was a Tuesday show. The cancellation was easy to see coming since CBS expects big numbers from all their shows.

CBS is wiping their slate clean of Person of Interest, Limitless and Supergirl so they can focus on NCIS: Detroit and CSI: Parking Meter Enforcement.

It's official. Limitless has been canceled and no one else is picking it up.

Not even the CW? They could make it a DC comic, and then round out the week as a Friday show (he could be the new Hourman)
