As for me, I could see liking it more than IM3 or Thor: TDK.

but this one makes the movie look as cheesy and clunky as the first couple of Fantastic Four movies or Green Lantern.

So far, this Luthor seems like he'd be more at home in Joel Schumacher's movies than Zack Snyder's.

But that's not.

Here's a thought - What if that nightmare we've all assumed was Bruce Wayne's was actually a vision shown to Diana of a possible future where Superman and Batman don't team up to form the Justice League, leading to Earth being taken over and Superman getting corrupted by Darkseid? Is it possible this would be more towards the beginning of the movie and Wonder Woman is sent out from Paradise Island to unite Superman and Batman which would explain her presence at the party?

I like it.

I could see that being an extended sequence at the very beginning of the film, like the Krypton scenes in MoS.

I don't know that Superman would be working for Darkseid in that version...possibly just having gone a bit more extreme to deal with the nasty-ass world that he's in.

I thought it was AWESOME!

My only problem is Lex, he is too silly. My favorite Lex is MR from SMALLVILLE which wasn't too campy and not too serious.

But the humor on display was just so clunky. Lex telling Bruce it's a bad idea to pick a fight with Clark? That is just way too on the nose.

I found it kinda funny. It's also important from a character aspect, showing that Clark is angry from his encounter with Bruce, and not quite in control of his superstrength. This in turn resonates with Bruce's issue with Supes's god-like power.

I have no problem with WW being in the movie, but I do think this trailer makes her introduction seem far more random and weird than it should be. ... (Presumably she will at least be introduced to the audience before that scene, if not to the other characters...)

And as Captaindemotion pointed out, others are complaining that the trailer showed everything. Which obviously it didn't. Batman and Superman meet. Does that surprise anyone? They fight, banter, and make friends. Wonder Woman turns up and joins the gang. Is anyone shocked by this?

I'm pretty sure Necro Zod (I'm not calling him Doomsday) is not the climax of the movie. Lex is the main villain. I think Lex will turn Zod loose about halfway through the film, the heroes will finally beat him, only to find that meanwhile Lex has plotted something even more dastardly.

No it's definitely distorted even with the non-armored cowl. It's a bit strange, but I think it works a hell of a lot better than whatever Bale thought he was doing with the voice and it makes sense that Batman would come up with a technological solution to avoid a voiceprint ID.


As for Doomsday: there's already a theory that despite appearances, it's actually Bizarro. Supposedly there's a Kryptonian crest Branded on it's chest that look like a backwards 'S'. It's probably just a distorted version of Zod's crest from the last movie, which does admittedly look somewhat like a backwards 'S'...planned that way perhaps?

Most likely they've more or less mashed the two concepts together. Not that it matters much, I mean either way it amounts to the same thing.
It's not like Doomsday was worth saving for a "Death of Superman" plot down the line. Now they're free to do something different.

Indeed, to date the only time Doomsday has been put to good use is on the old Justice League cartoon where he was firstly used as punchline to show how ruthless Justice Lord Superman was. Then again later to show just how close to the edge Superman was being pushed into going down that same path and explore the ethics of superheroing.

Well I still have the X-Men films! Where the battle in the 80's against Apocalypse will totally not be undermined by the happy, happy ending of DOFP in 2023... Oh wait!

Damn! We already know the conflicts of these respective films have no lasting repercussions. Meaning BvS, CACW and X-Men FC 3, have no stakes!

Yes, as a clunky but functional solution to the voice ID problem that also has the effect of making Bats seem more strange and distanced from humanity, I like it. Would also come in handy for addressing large hordes of goons assembled in disused warehouses.

The more I look at Batfleck, the more I like what I see. The role he was born for?

One of the purported plot synopses has Batman and Superman making their peace before the halfway mark. Which, frankly, makes a lot of sense to me. The reality is, I want to see Batman and Superman working together, not at cross purposes. Their first encounter goes badly, and then they sort it out because they're not stupid or unreasonable.
