Series 9 - Coming September 19! (And a trailer!)

Maybe this has already been discussed but in the prologue on Karn where the doctor says that something happened which was recent, presumably referring to Davros, is he referring to the events of Stolen earth/Journey's End? Does the doctor feel compelled to see Davros because he feels responsible for what happened to Davros in Journey's End?

How can that stiry been recent? It happened more than half hus entire lifetime ago.
Not even Day of the Doctor counts as recent for him anymore.

Not sure what this could refer to.

Maybe something off screen that will be explained in the first episode?

Btw, has there been a list if the episode titles somewhere?

Moffat's been channeling his inner Sixth Form Arts Student. :)

Truthfully, I assumed he was talking about the Master/Missy, and the "recent thing that happened" was how she lied to him about knowing where Gallifrey was. His reaction to that was pretty bad, as you may recall.

Or, to split the difference, maybe the person they're talking about is Davros, and the thing that happened was the siege at Trenzalore, where the Daleks learned that Gallifrey is still out there somewhere.

So the preview confirms the name of Maisie Williams character is the one that I posted here weeks ago. Which gives the Episode 12 spoilers that came from the same person a lot more weight...

Love those titles! it almost sounds like a poem or some type of puzzle.

Agreed, probably the best season's collection of titles ever! Let's hope the stories live up to the creativity of the titles!

“Is it a sad song?”
“Nothing’s sad till it’s over. Then everything is.”
“What’s it called?”
“I think it’s called Clara.”
“Tell me about her."

My guess. That dialogue takes place between the Doctor and this character

Woudn't it be a real kick in the pants if...

The Clara we've known since Bells of St. John bites it this series...only to be replaced by the Waitress Clara Echo instead...then Clara is "dead" but Jenna Coleman keeps on the show?

I highly doubt that would happen, but still...

Apparently the doctor and Clara are under the assumption they're different people

The doctor is some guitar player and Clara is a waitress in Utah.

John Smith shares his story with the waitress

Oh god, that would be atrocious. Hopefully that's not the case.

Besides that, the little previews were interesting. I'm still very excited for series 9 to start.
