Yeah, they were kinda in the way... But they looked cool. The glass panels on the bridge seem to be gone. That actually opens the set quite a bit.
I have really enjoyed Michael Giacchino's scores for Trek and glad to hear he's getting a third go.
He's still a bit of a chameleon as a composer - The Incredibles quoted so much from Bond and Mission: Impossible. His Trek scores take from Goldsmith, Horner and others, as well as his wonderful take on Courage's TOS theme at the end of both Abrams' movies. Jurrassic World was rather bland, but had its moments and took from Williams in style and in a few actual cues from the original soundtrack.
I'll have to pick up Tomorrowland and Jupiter Ascrending.
Star Trek Beyond gets philanthropic... and funky.
This is actually a pretty cool and heart warming cause with a great prize. Check it out!

Also, barcode scanners are still there.
The clear screens do seem to be down on the bridge. However, it could be they were removed just for the shooting of that video. We'll see in due time.![]()

I wonder if maybe as opposed to the glass screens, they'll do holographic projections instead. I mean, this is the 23rd century we're talking about here, after all.![]()

You mean the same thing that's been in every movie and/or trailer since Inception?Per the soundtrack, I don't care who does it as long as they keep that loud vuvuzela note that shows up in dramatic scenes. That was - seriously - epic.
Brwaooommmmmm... Brwaooooommmm....
where is alice eve, I want her back, like now.
^No, a vuvuzela is a large plastic horn that's really loud.

Huh, I've just been assuming that Alice Eve would be in this movie. I hope she is. And if not, maybe she'll at least be back for the fourth one?
