Still would recommend the Empty Child /the Doctor Dances as it has good fun moments with the Ninth Doctor more in the style of the Eleventh Doctor.
The two episodes (Empty Child /the Doctor) are also the source of I think a half dozen running gags in Doctor Who. There are certainly three that link to River Song and at least one that linked to The Girl in the Fireplace. Plus one or two reference ones that are funny on their own, but silly once you know what the reference is.
Sarah Jane actually has her own spinoff, The Sarah Jane Adventures. The Doctor-as Tennant and Smith-guest-stars in four episodes (I think for the most part the series was composed of two-parters). Sarah Jane also appears a bit in later Tennant stories (unfortunately Elisabeth died a few years ago)
It's an OK show, a bit cornier than WHO, and featuring some of Who's sillier monsters such as the Slitheen and Judoon (Although it did come up with some interesting monsters on it's own such as the Trickstar).
If you ever check out the classic series, Sarah Jane appeared in seasons eleven through fourteen, at first teamed with Jon Pertwee in his final season, and then with Tom Baker. Her last episode was "The Hand of Fear" which was referenced in School Reunion (The Doctor leaving her in the wrong place). He later ships her the K-9 Mk III in a one-off special "K-9 and Company". (The Doctor traveled with K-9s Mk I and II in seasons 15 through 18, who left with other companions).
Cool! I'll definitely have to check it out... Eventually. I thought she was greatUnlike Clara, I doubt I'll ever warm to Rose. She just rubs me the wrong way. I'm glad she won't be in season 3 and only a bit in 4.
Maybe I'm forgetting, but doesn't LINDA group member mention some of his adventures as the Third Doctor? Or am I misremembering.
I do know they are referenced one more time, but that's in a special set just before the third Christmas special (2007).
You seem to be wearing an Avatar that is not completely representative of your clearly stated opinions towards that impossible woman.
Love & Monsters is definitely a huge clunker. I just pretend it doesn't exist.
